Your dog is adorable! :) I have a 5 year old Boston Terrier, 3 1/2 year old English Mastiff and 1 year old Bospin (Boston Terrier X Miniature Pinscher) The picture is my boys when we first got them, and then a more recent picture

At first i wanted to say Shep&Husky. Based on just the first shot,the one that's head-on. Because her skull appears so wide and massive, somewhat pyramidal. After viewing 2nd shot[indoors] I concluded from her humongous feet and beautiful short-haired coat. That the mix might be more like Shepherd and Great Dane. However, after being reminded of the Elk hounds from some of the other answers. I feel Sheppard 'n' Elk hound is a good guess.Would like to see her again when she's fully grown,standing near a reference point for height,photographed from the side.I might still like the Great Dane hunch. By the way love her lil' mask! Looks like a gas mask lol

Thanks to Brian Gonzalez for the A2A!Preamble: I have no professional or personal experience with breeds like this, but a general interest and enjoyment of animals, and so my answer is based rather on a kind of nebulous familiarity with dog breeds in general. So…It’s hard to gauge the size of the dog but from the looks of the photo where it is next to the kerb I would guess it is a medium size animal and I would have to concur with those suggesting it could be a Chow crossbreed.By the way did you know that in China they are called Songshi Quan which translates as “Puffy Lion Dog” Isn’t that the most perfect, obvious description?! The original Benji was a shelter dog, of unknown breeding, and the second and third Benji's were his sons...However, when it became news that the original Benji was a shelter dog..MANY dogs were adopted from shelters as a result..So, when it came time for the fourth Benji, the trainer put a call out to all shelters..He got a call form one that said thy had found a dog that had been dumped on a country road, that looked about right..So, that dog did work out, and became the fourth Benji.. I have a little mutt..1/2 wirehaired Doxie, and 1/2 Silky terrier.. She looks JUST like a smaller Benji..

What Breeds of Dogs are Under 30lbs?
My boyfriend and I are moving into a new apartment. The code for the building says you are allowed to have a pet as long as they do not exceed 30lbs. I've never been a big fan of little dogs, but now we are considering our options because we'd really like a puppy. What breeds do not exceed 30lbs when full grown? What kind of small dog do you have and what do you love about them? Thanks for your help!!
