What Kind Of Credits Do Sports Give

Does being in the color guard give you PE credits, just like a marching band?

Depends on your school. The high school I attended counted band as fine arts (and guard was listed as a section of the band). The high school I teach at considers marching bad a gym credit, but ONLY if you do all 4 years. If you school has a competitive winterguard as well as marching band, it might count. You should check with your guidance counselor and/or band director.

Where do you find a high end sports bookie?

I assume you are looking for a local bookie and you are outside of Las Vegas. To find a high end sports bookie, you need to hit the streets. First, you'll need to find any bookie period. Any bookie that will give you action may already be giving you enough action to allow you to place bets up to $2000 per week. If you are looking for higher than that, they may give it to you as long as you stay a consistent player with them. If you are a consistent player and they still do not want to give you larger credit, then ask him to refer you to someone that will. Trust me, he knows others and he knows others that can get you the credit line you want. And he will still get paid from your plays. To find the bookie, ask waiters or bartenders. Go to barbershops and ask the barber if he has a bookie. Ask your next door neighbor that watches sports all the time if he has a bookie. Almost everybody's got one.

What kind of sport can I do that will give me the same sense of belonging that martial arts did but that is less macho and rough?

This is more about specific schools which teach martial arts than martial arts as a whole; please don’t tar the entire discipline with the same brush.I know what you mean. No matter where I go or what I do, nothing feels more “at home” for me than in a dojo or a room full of martial artists. When I go to work, I’m Chad the software test manager and I wear my IT professional hat. I change hats on a regular basis, depending on where I am and what I’m doing, but there’s always at least some feeling that I need to prove that I’m qualified to wear that hat. When I’m at my jujutsu class, I feel like I’m just Chad. Maybe that says something about me more than anything else, but for lack of a better term, martial artists are my tribe. From your phrasing, it sounds like you’ve had experience that was too macho and rough (aggressive) for your tastes. There’s no judgement there — everyone has the right to say how much aggression they’re comfortable with, and the answer will be different for each person. Some people relish physical contests; other people are repelled by it, and everybody’s situation is different.I don’t know anything about you, so the advice I can give is limited to glittering generalities (credit to Dianna MacYoung for the phrase). It’s still true enough to be helpful. If you want a school with less aggression, try finding one with a fair number of older students. As a rule, they’re going to be more careful with their techniques and the environment and method they practice to limit injuries. At 40-something years old, I’m one of the youngest in my school, and there are several people in the 60+ range. They’re some of the sneakiest and most precise people I know and safety is their number one goal.Try to avoid schools which engage in competitions. Ego thrives on contests and aggression, and competitions fuel the egos.Try an art which is soft, like judo or jujutsu, rather than one which is hard, like boxing or karate — again, this is a generalisation. My old karate sensei used to frequently say that people used strength to cover up a weakness in their technique, so clearly not all karate schools rely on the hard techniques.Best of luck to you. I hope you find your tribe, wherever it is. Just don’t write off martial arts as a whole — there are lots of good schools out there, and I’m dead confident that there’s one somewhere which will fit you as well.

How to finance a car with poor credit?

Thousands of dealers all over the country cater to people just like you.

The quality of the car you can get will depend on your down payment. The larger it is, the better the car you can get.

However, they do not stock the cleanest, low mileage units because their business model would not support it. (They would go under if they tried)

The dealers are called predatory for a reason.

You simply need to build your credit or save & pay cash. I have been paying cash for ALL my cars for the last 30 years. My credit score is not relevant to buying a car.

Can you google? Do it.

"DRIVE FEE, RETIRE RICH"

What benefit does a good credit rating give me?

A good credit score from a credit rating agency will allow you to qualify for lower-cost mortgages.

How do you receive credits from high school?

Taking courses gives you credits (such as math, biology etc.); check with your school specifically on which courses you can gain credits from. There’s also extra curriculars you can gain credit from. My high school gives credit for being on provincial sports teams, taking your driver’s test etc.

What is the best algorithm to give credits (salary cap) to a cricketer for a fantasy sports website?

As far as I know it is not advise to implement any algorithm directly as a lot depends on the set of rules that we apply to implement any algorithm. To give credits or weight to any player for the performance depends on lot of external factors :VenueSituationOppositionStyle of playPressureTime of matchThese are just few factors that needs to be tuned for any weighting algorithm. In case you find any algorithm with takes care of all these do let me know as well.

Do you think it is good for our children for them to hear a sports player to give credit to ‘a lord and savior Jesus Christ’, when we know that practice and strategy of humans alone determined the outcome of the game?

We don’t know that God didn’t play a role in the out come of the game, though it seems unlikely that the Patriots would win as often as they do, coming from an increasingly secular region of the country if God did regularly interfere in sporting events. However, Christians are not alone in acknowledging that all gifts and talents that we have are not something we have achieved but been given by God. In this way we can say that God has influence on the outcome of the game, through influence on the preconditions of the game and players. We also know that people not on the field have an effect on the outcome of the game: for the Super Bowl it is pretty clear that a new interpretation of the infamous “Catch rule” was in play (and, as an Eagles fan, I thank God and Goodell for that!) But I digress…It is very good for our children to hear public professions of faith. One of the founding principles of this country was religious freedom so that such professions could be made, even if not to the state religion (let alone secularism, the religion of the state). The public act of giving the glory to God tends to help keep the athletes and coaches humble and grounded, knowing that their talents do not belong to themselves.
