What Kind Of Dance Music Is This And Where Can I Find More Like It

Dance/poms dark jazz music?

Ooooh! I love dark jazz! Here are some good ones:

"Shut Your Mouth" - Garbage
"Lover I Don't Have to Love" - Bright Eyes
"The Perfect Drug" - Nine Inch Nails
"Sharpest Lives" - My Chemical Romance (great chorus)
"The Libertine" - Patrick Wolf (Loooove the opening! Sexy and dark)
"Animal I Have Become" - Three Days Grace
"Limp"- Fiona Apple (Not as "thrashy" as the other ones but dark nonethelesse. My dance studio did a jazz to this a few years ago and it came out reaaally good)
"Sinking Feeling" - Roisin Murphy (Also not as thrashy, but I think it's dark. The beginning of the song always creeps me out a little haha. Her voice is really haunting and the beat is great)

Hope I could help! You can find all of them on iTunes.

What's this kind of Music called? Diva Dance from The Fifth Element?

Perhaps you know the song "Diva Dance" from the movie "The Fifth Element"?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Syo6tLeZf...

I love the song, especially the second half from about 3:30. What's this kind of music called? Who's singing anyhow? Do you know similar songs? Where can I find more?

What kind of Dance Genre is Moondance?

That song, Moondance, (Van Morrison, Michael Buble) is great and we want to dance to it at our wedding. We'd like to get a few lessons before we do - just for that one song - but what kind of genre is best for a song like that. Foxtrot? A simplified swing routine? Any ideas? Please give some kind of reference so I can SEE what you mean (You tube, etc.)

How do you dance to bluegrass music at a wedding?

Blue grass tends to have a moderate pace - even for slow 'mood' songs. The best partner dance that will suit most Blue grass is American Foxtrot. You don't have to do this dance with 'ballroom' style - you can do it with a Latin Style as this dance can be danced to Reggae music (which has a similar 'bop' as Blue grass). There is a Foxtrot dance called the Peabody which is cute and would be very easy to learn (but I don't think many people know how to teach this one, unfortunately.)

The next genre of dances to look at would be the country dances - the two step (or nightclub two step) can fit some blue grass. The other dances to look at are polkas (like the 'King and I' dance).

I'm sure your Blue grass Band will have some 'slow dance' music. See if you can get a repertoire list from the Band so you can see if they have a song that you like. You could even get a sample tape from them so you can practice your wedding dance to THEIR music beforehand. (All bands play the same song very differently so it is best to find out how your band plays the song before deciding.)

What kind of dance style does Justin Bieber do?

A quick question, in Justin Bieber's "Somebody to Love" music video, would anyone happen to know what particular dance style that was?

P.S. For all the haters, please refrain from the fag, retard, and homosexual comments, just saying before they start ._.

What type of dance would be associated with Frank Sinatra music?

Sinatra is mostly famous for his ballroom dancing and tap-work. He is most likely to be associated with the Quick-step or Sock-hop. These two are very difficult to learn, but if you stay at it, it becomes quite simple
I having been dancing ballroom for many years as well as numerous dance styles throughout my life, and some tips I can give you are to:
1) ALWAYS break your suede-bottom shoes in before dancing in them.
2) Stretch out ALL muscles and ligaments (from neck to ankles to wrists)
3) Be passionate and confident in your dance style ad technique. Even though your instructor will tell you the correct form and style, always try to adapt you own styles into how you move.
