What Kind Of Shampoo Should I Be Using

What kind of shampoo should I use for my Shih Tzu?

I wouldn't use Adams. Use a good pet hypo shampoo that doesn't contain soap/detergent/dyes/perfumes. Yes plenty of shih-tzus have allergy & skin issues. The majority I groom have skin problems. Oatmeal is not hypo & with dog with grain issues can add to problem & doesn't clean well. Better to use mild gentle cleansing soap-free shampoo.

What kind of shampoo should i use for my rat?

No to all the soaps/shampoos you listed. Even baby shampoo is bad as the scent irritates a rat's delicate respiratory system. Also, they can cause skin irritations. Stores DO sell rodent shampoo. Have you looked for rabbit ir guinea pig shampoo? Either of these will suffice. There is also something called Epi-Soothe oatmeal shampoo for rodents. You can also use a mild cat shampoo if your store does not carry rodent shampoo, but dilute it so that it is only soapy enough to lather. Following are 2 links to help with the bath if you really feel it is necessary:

Should I be using the new bar shampoo?

There are actual shampoo bars and there are soaps that some people are selling as shampoo.Soap pretending to be shampoo.Stay away from the soaps. They will be described as natural and made with hair loving oils but it's still just soap.Soap is horrible for our hair.Shampoo bars.A well formulated shampoo bar does exactly the same as a bottle of shampoo. It has all the same ingredients as liquid shampoo except for water. They can seem expensive but when you consider that a liquid shampoo is around 80% water it's actually more cost effective to buy a bar.100g bar of shampoo is the equivalent of approximately 3 bottles of shampoo. However it should last longer than 3 bottles of shampoo because you don't spill any and you only use as much as you need.I only use shampoo bars these days. When I go on holiday this summer I will be taking a shampoo bar, a conditioner bar, a lotion bar, a body scrub bar and a sunscreen bar.At around 100g each that's 500g total in my toiletry bag. I'm saving at least a kg in weight but most importantly I don't risk anything spilling in transit. From an environmental point of view it's the way forward. We don't need to add water to so many products and can save on packaging which comes at a higher price than just in our pocket. The first time I used a shampoo bar it felt odd. I was still making liquid shampoo for my daughter a year after I started making solid shampoo for myself. Now she won't use liquid shampoo either. There's no rule to say you should use shampoo bars so it's really a case of whatever suits you.

What kind of shampoo should I use with my Blue-Black hair?

I dyed my hair Blue-Black and the color is awesome! I would like to get some shampoo/conditioner that will help keep the color in longer as well as keeping my hair looking healthy. I have been using Garnier Nuitrise for permed/color treated hair and its conditioner as well as the leave in conditioner that is supposed to protect from the sun.

Should i just stay using it or should I switch to AVEDA and use either their black malva for dark shades or their blue malva for all shades? They are organic so I am sure it cant hurt my hair so what do you think is better or do you reccomend another product?

What shampoo do you use and why?

I use my own company’s shampoo and conditioner because I know what goes into it!As a strong supporter of natural ingredients, my hair can’t take using anything other than our Neem based shampoos and conditioners now as I have been using them since my early teens. Our shampoos and conditioners use Neem as the main ingredient (declared as the Tree of the 21st Century by the United Nations) and other Ayurvedic extracts. You can find out more about Neem here if you are interested - https://nimveda.com/blog/why-nee...

What kind of shampoo should I use to wash my lambs?

If you're showing them in a wool class, you can't wash them with anything, it will strip the lanolin and reduce the wool quality. You need to try and keep them clean to begin with, and the worst of the dirt will be trimmed off when you shape them with hand shears. If you'll be showing them as market lambs, they'll end up basically slick-shorn in any case, and you wouldn't be worried about wool quality. You'd shear them roughly first, then wash them with Orvus paste- which is meant for livestock and will be available at most feed and tack stores.
