What is so fun about Dayz standalone?
ok i was thinking of getting it but im not sure because it seems like one of those games that will get very boring after a while. for what ive seen the zombies are just kind of a bother and not really a threat and the map is extremely huge for 40 ppl. all ive seen people do is colect stuff and get better gear but it seems like it would get boring very quickly. for those who have played why do u think its so fun
What is the best survival DayZ, Rust?
That’s a pretty subjective one. What do you want in a game? Uber-realism or an insane blast? You can even make a Bethesda game what you want it if you mod it enough. I found that out the hard way with FO4. Did my PC a huge favor though. Rust is not for the faint of heart, and not for people who are bothered by dumb stuff, all manner of mind games or dying pretty much endlessly. I have no idea what kind of gamer you are, everyone’s different. If you were up late at night trolling Battlefield servers for fresh meat, Rust just might be for ya. Nuff said on my part.
What is there to do in DayZ?
So Ive had Rust for around three weeks now and its fun and all but its not too difficult to "win". I know in DayZ you cant build a house like in Rust and that the whole point is to survive. But what is there to do besides get your basic needs? Thx
Game like DayZ on Steam?
So I was looking at DayZ (Not the ARMA II Mod) and I really like it, but I don't have enough money, so I was wondering. Are there any games like that to where you have to scavenge for supplies to help you survive, including using them for hunting, combining them to make them better, and stuff like that? Don't really care for the Zombie/Multiplayer part, but if it has it that's OK too.

You can count me among the players who don’t feel amazed playing fun games. I like to be a part of adventurous games especially battlefield games especially when it’s a multiplayer game or it can be said that I only like to play multiplayer games therefore currently engaged in League of Legends. As I am a newbie it's a little bit hard for me to defeat others. Now I am planning to buy lol smurf account from a site suggested by my friend. Instead of free games, you can opt for cheap games because it will provide you interesting features and a lot of thrill to remain a player.
How fun is PKing in video games? Why?
It depends on your love of trolling. PK’ing is only fun if you’re guaranteed a win. Shooting a distracted player, killing a newbie, taking advantage of a wounded player.When the odds are even, it’s not PK but instead a mutual match.PKing is always trolling. Even if the game calls for it. DayZ, Rust, Absolver, Dark Souls, Division, etc. Players go in knowing it’s a strong possibility, but there’s a difference between taking the easy kill and doing it gentlemanly.Here’s a clip I just took from Absolver of some poor PK’er trying to get the jump on me. He didn’t know I was watching him the whole time and ran right into my trap.
Why do some people find survival games so fun?
Probably because survival games give you that feel of action and adventure that you only usually see in movies/television. I mean real survival situations don’t happen very much in real life.Also in video games, because it’s a simulation and not real, you can get that thrill of adventure without suffering the consequences (such as fear, death, etc). In survival games the aim is, as the name suggests, to survive and fight for your life - but without actually fighting for your life. This gives you the fun of using your skills and intelligence with the bonus of feeling like you’re acting out some action movie without getting hurt. Sounds like fun to me.
What details/things can make a zombie survival game more fun?
More accurate/fun survival elements.Most of those games have meters for all aspects of life. Health, Hunger, Thirst etc.But they usually deplete way too fast.In real life, you can go without food for many days; in game, you will literally die if you don’t eat in a day.In real life, well, you can go without water for a day or two. In game, you will literally die in less than a day.Better balancing of that could make the game more fun.And also, more interesting decisions and options. Better AI detection system. In most of those games, once zombies know where you are, they will follow you to death. Once you attract one, you attract everyone. There should be more room for being able to stay inconspicuous for longer.

Is it possible to run dayz with AMD Turion 2 Dual-Core Mobile M520 also has 2.30 GHZ and if so how smooth will it run because i am thining about getting DayZ but i want to know how it will do with my computer because it is the most realistic zombie game i have really ever seen the gunshots attract zombies people can kill you they can take your stuff so i'm just wondering if i should get it with my computers graphics card.
