What kind of scar does an eyebrow piercing leave?
Well, for the great majority of people, I would say just go for it because, if you take proper care of it, then the scar (if any) that it would leave if you let the piercing heal up would be so small as to be virtually invisible. However, since you are an actor, I assume that your career depends (at least to some degree) on the appearance of your face, so you may not want to chance it...then again, it may depend...are you male or female? Actresses are often expected to have a "blemish-free" face, but for male actors it might not matter as much- they may even be expected to have a somewhat tough/rugged appearance, and in such a case, no one would even think twice about some tiny nearly-invisible scar near your eyebrow... My Eyebrow piercing fell?
I had an eyebrow piercing and I loved it but like you my body rejected it. My piercer thought we could try again at a smaller gauge behind the scar tissue but it got rejected a second time. After the 2nd time I gave up on the eyebrow. Years later I have no scar at at all, I did have a mark for a while but it went away and I think anyone would be hard pressed to look at me and tell I was ever pierced. If you are a female you might be able to use makeup to cover up any imperfections in the eyebrow. I can't say if you will heal totally though do you scar bad normally? I bumped my eyebrow constantly because I am so clumsy so it could've turned out bad but the body is pretty good at healing. I had a great piercer though, you should always thoroughly research, piercers aren't all the same. If its just a line I think it could go away and I doubt its that disfiguring horrible that people other than you are put off by it too much.

The piercing should be done with a curved bar on the ridge, with plenty of tissue pierced, and a bar at least 14 or 16 g (1.2 or 1.4 mm). Smaller bars and not enough tissue lead to rejection. So, if your niece's eyebrow sits above or below her actual eyebrow ridge, the piercing (when placed in a way that will actually heal) will look weird on her, and she might want to think about doing something else, instead. Eyebrow piercing on the left or right?
I have my eyebrow pierced on the right and am getting my lip pierced on the left side. In my opinion if you have your nose and/or lip pierced on one side, you should get an eyebrow piercing on the opposite side to balance it out. I think a lip and nose piercing look good on one side but the eyebrow should be the opposite. Get the eyebrow done on the left. SIDE NOTE: Im thankful I got my eyebrow done on the right because Im right handed also so I would assume taking the bar out and putting it back in is easier if it's on the side you rite with. 2nd SIDE NOTE: Do not listen to anyone about being gay with the right side. I have the right side and am not a lesbian So in my opinion it looks better on the opposite side, but make sure you think about if it would feel awkward removing and replacing it w/ a hand youre not used to. Someone is going to start a chain of specialty clinics and make money on this. Piercing is so popular today, but in the future a lot of people are going to want the marks removed. In a successful piercing, the skin actually grows down into the hole and closes over, and the hole may stay there forever. The regrown skin might close with a little, noticeable dimple. If possible, the first step is for a physicians go in and sandpaper the hole to make the skin raw again. When the skin grows together, it will plug the hole. You might need the help of a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon. A lot of folks are going to have a big old hole in their noses from nasal piercings, so an eyebrow ring scar isn't such a bad thing. How do I convince my parents to let me get my eyebrow pierced?
I'm 16 a guy and I want to get my eyebrow pierced .. I've wanted to for 3 years going on 4 (no joke) I wasn't to sure first because I taught they left a mark.. Now I've found out they don't there's nothing stopping me! (A fried who had hi done for over a year took his out and it closed up withen the hour.. And by a month there was no trace of the piercing!) The only thin stopping me is my parents.. My dad who was a prison guard has something against tattoos and piercings(from working in the prison) he's pretty narrow minded too... How can I convince them? I've been told by over 30 people (no joke) that I should get it pierced they said it would just plain and simple suit me, because my eyebrows are prominent that I would look sexy .. It's not all that uncommon around here I've seen a few guys with it done.. How do I convince my parents? Mainly my dad? My mom just sort of agrees with him... He said the silver balls pup in it first look trashy as that he's not a fan of how it looks.
