Is my 19 year old brother allowed to take me to the doctor instead of my parents?
Yes , why not he is old and mature enough to explain it to the doctor about your illness. He can later on explain about the meeting to your parents as what the doctor has said. What medicines needs to be taken if there are any . Have faith in your brother . It seems obvious that you yourself are old enough to understand what the doctor will say. Try to listen to the doctor and tell him exactly about the reason you have come to see him. Your illness . Act as what he prescribes it to you. You require your parents under serious circumstances . Other wise both you and your brother are bound to deal with it . Best of luck .

Hi my name's Molliee, and I have a sister 1 year younger than me, Camilla, A brother two years older than, me Seth, and an 11 year old sister, Danielle. I still live in my hometown, in an apartment on my own, but my brother lives in Montana. My mother just gave me a call that my brother has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for shooting and killing two people; His ex girlfriend and her unborn son. He has called me up to explain it's not his fault, but I don't believe him and hang up. I don't want to talk to him, as I am very upset of what he did, considering I AM pregnant. (And he killed a woman that he dated YEARS ago) Should I never talk to him again, or give it some time and try again? -Molliee
My 13 year old brother poops his pants everyday?
Sometimes i feel really bad for him because he is ostracized by the other kids in his grade because he smells like fermenting crap. My parents say that he is normal and that he is just going through a phase but this phase has been going on for almost two years now! I think he might be giving in to peer pressure because i have seen some of his friends with poop seeping out of their pants too. How do you think i could stop him from dumping in his pants?
Anyone other kids have a little brother who still picks his nose and eats it everyday afterschool watching TV?
Everyday after school I have to watch my little brother because our mom works. My brother Jimmy is 9 years old. He is a good kid mostly...but he has two really bad habits. He bites his finger nails like constantly. The other worse one is when he gets home and starts watching the cartoons with me he spends like an hour picking his nose and eating his boogers. When I tell him about it he says they are really bothering him cause they are really big cause he can't do it in school... the kids tease him big time if they see him doing it. He knows it's bad but he can't stop because it's a habit and he likes doing it....he also refuses to use a tissue. He knows I really care about him and would never give away his dirty little secret and I'm too fond of him to bust him very much about it. Does anyone else have a little brother or sister or a child with the same habit, how old are they, and what advise or help can you give me? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much!
Should I let my younger brother smoke weed?
I have a younger brother who just turned 16 and now wants to experiment with weed. I'm 19 and have never smoked weed since I have never felt the need to and have felt that the negatives outweighted the positives. I was also turned off from drugs thanks to my middle school anti-drug classes that I feel that my younger brother did not have much of at his middle school. Almost all of my friends have or still smoke weed and a lot of them don't think it's that big of a deal. Is it OK for me to let my brother smoke weed just to see what the "high" is? Is he old enough to make a decision like this by himself? I am torn between being a good big brother and letting my younger brother make decisions on his own. Also, another reason I haven't tried opening the door to drugs is because both of my grandfathers were alcohol addicts and my parents have also told me to never do drugs or alcohol because I might have this "addict" gene.

Wishing for your brother to die is terrible he is going through a rough time in his life and really needs your love and support there has got to be something bothering him so much thats making him be so deoressed and maybe you could be the one to help. I used to be the exact same way he was and i attempted suicide to I even tried medicine but I finally made it through you know you should tell your parents that there is a pysch awards out there that they should try so it could take some of the stress of your family and he could be under close care and it would also give him someone to talk to and would and he could be in an environment where there are other people going through the same thing but if that is not a possiblity then maybe he needs some friends or maybe a girlfriend to get him out and do things with and that would give him something to do to help keep his mind off of hurting himself and would give him someone to talk to about what is bothering him so much but you need to be nicer to him and help him be there for him get him out and do things with him cause it could be part of the problem that you want him dead so he's probably figuring y not and i know you think that it would be alot easier if he was gone but that would cause even more pain for your family and you say it now but you would really miss him if he was gone i wish i lived close cause I'm really good with helping people times like this me and a big number of my friends have all been through this so I know what it feels like but if he needs someone to talk to tell him to e-mail me at Lilsuga142@yahoo.com
