When we named our kids we set some guidelinesWe Re not naming a baby but a person for their whole lifeName should not require “please spell this" requestsGive them 2 names of different “type” so they can later chooseNo top 10 names from the kastv10 years as to avoid 3 “Kevin"s in classMinimum 2 syllables as to make caling them easier (no: beeeeheeen)No biblical names (to avoid another frequency issue)After that process we usually had 2–3 names leftWe ended up with aJulian PatrickAnd aJanina ChiaraCaroline was another option. Actually if Julian had been a girl ;)Also I am somewhat keen on interesting and aesthetically pleasing initials.We have JPG and JCG :)
What is your favorite name? Why?
I'm almost loath to put this on here, but it is my favorite name.JedelhaunIf you Google this name you will get a surprusing result. Sadly with me posting this it may not last longYour search - jedelhaun - did not match any documents.That's because it is highly personal.You see years ago my older brother got a speak and Spell for ChristmasIt had a random letter button on it, and one day I walked in on him hitting this button over and over to aee what it came out with. It came out with Jedelhaun. I think it was some butchered version of it but he sounded it out and said “that's a really cool name”At the time we would play many little games, one of the more popular ones was a fantasy dungeons and dragons style adventure. We would list our gear on a paper and the two of us would go outside, along the river, under the big cotton wood tree, along the trail and through the park go on our adveture slaying orc hords, skeletons and whatnot else that presumed to stop us.But somehow Aaron and Nate didn't quite sound as cool.“Jedelhaun” I sounded it out with an awe like that which King Arthur would have pulling Excalibur from its sheath.“you can have that one” Nate said with overwhelming candor. This is not what big Brothers norally did, and he did it.He found his own name through the Augur of the speak and Spell. And thus we had many a great adveture.He is a great Brother. Recently I had a son, and named him Jed in honor of my brother and the great memories we had.

Kami Meek She teaches science 8th grade She is soo evil! She is hilarious! She loves to read esp. vampire books n stuff like that. She so nice. Don't mess with her! She rarley gets mad. If your doing something bad she'll just give you the stare and you. will. stop. i promise. I have seen her give it to other people....*shivers* haha...She's awesome!
What's your favorite girl's name?
My all time favorite is Daphne Margaret. Daphne is a very unusual Greek name; it's the Greek name for a bay laurel tree. Margaret is for my grandmother Margaret and my mother Margo. Margaret is actually my sister's middle name, too.
