What Nickname Do I Use For A Purtero Rican Black Jamican Girl

Coolie jamaican girls?

Coolies are mixed with Chinese or East Indian or some other type of Asian....think Foxy Brown, she's a Trinidadian Coolie. Her dad was flipino and her mom is a straight trinidadian....Coolies come in all skin tones....

Who did that mid-late 80's rap song that goes "I know a girl named Judy ... and Judy got that Booty..."

I know a girl named Judy
And Judy got that Booty
(something someting) hard
but you best not to let that girl fart
Poison Ivyyyyyyyyy

What does the Spanish slang term mami mean?

It can have two meanings, the non slang one, which just means “Mommy” and the slang one, which is said to women and means something like “Babe”.It’s similar to the word “Daddy”, if a little girl calls her father “daddy”, it just means dad. But if a women calls a man “daddy”, it usually doesn’t mean dad.Never call your friends or random women “mami”, because this word has a derrogatory connotation in many contries and it would be really disrespectful. This word is generally used by people in Central America and the Caribbean, but in the rest of the Spanish speaking countries you should avoid using this word.

What if a girl calls you papi? What does she mean?

She needs allowance.

Do Jamaicans not like Indians?

To add my two cents to the matter, I'd have to say in general Jamaicans are not racist. They may say words like 'Coolie', 'Mr Chin', 'whitey', 'brown man', 'Blacka' but it is not meant in a racially demeaning way like you would find in the UK or the USA. It's not meant to be personal. One thing I love about Jamaicans is how blunt they are in how they describe people. You can see it in the nicknames like 'Big Head', "Ugly Bwoy", etc. My favourite is "E.T.", a nick-name Christened on a friend of mine in high school who, yes, looked just like the Spielberg character.

In Britain and the USA, where diverse nations live next door to each other I notice that attitudes can change somewhat. A few years ago in New Town, Birmingham there was a skirmish between Indians and Jamaicans as it was said that a Jamaican girl was raped by an Indian boy and both communities were ready to duke it out. It was tense for a period of months. Even now there is still little love lost. But in general, Jamaicans don't have anything against Indians.

As a matter of fact, Jamaicans don't have anything against anyone and dare I add, Jamaican men love women of any race. I've met half-Jamaicans - half-Indian, half-Samoan, half-Australian, half-Zimbabwean, half-Nigerian, half-Ghanaian, half-American, half-Venezuelan, half-Cuban, half-Puerto-Rican, half-Japanese, half-Chinese, and I'm half-Jamaican and half-South African!

Costa Rican people? how come?

Let's look back to the 1500's

When the Spanish Conquistadors arrived in Costa Rica, yes of course there were Indians, but unlike it's neighboring countries the natives were rebels and refused to accept the whites as their "masters" so instead of staying and working for the Europeans, the indigenous people escaped north or south(out of Costa Rica) the few that remained either died off of diseases(brought by the Europeans) or mistreatment by the Europeans. So the indigenous population decreased dramatically by more than 95% when the whites arrived.

This is why during that time,Costa Rica was the poorest country in Central America, due to the lack of indigenous people to work the land. Many Europeans found themselves plowing and working their own lands.Soon After they discovered growing coffee and bananas was great business, the government started giving away land for free to people who were willing to grow coffee.Of course this was a great deal for Europeans who wanted to own land. So even more immigrated to Costa Rica.

Since there were very few indigenous people, less mixing of the European and indigenous people occurred, therefore a vast majority of Costa Ricans are predominantly of European descent.Mostly Spanish, Portuguese,Italian and French. There is also a large number of Costa Ricans of German,Jewish,Polish and Greek descent.

There are also black Costa Ricans who are descendents of Jamaican immigrants who were brought as workers(not slaves) to build railroads.

Also immigration of non whites is a problem(mainly from Nicaragua, Peru,Colombia,Guatemala,El Salvador and even Mexico)
If you look closely(don't mean to offend or be racist) but they clearly stand out and don't blend in because of their skin color and facial features. There is a problem with tourists thinking these people are Costa Rican, and it upsets Costa Ricans because they are very proud of their dominant European descent. This is perceived by other Latin American countries ( Especially Central America) as Costa Ricans being racist and arrogant, hence why they nickname Costa Rica " The Argentina of Central America'.

Hope I helped :)

What does it mean for a guy to call me mama?

When I saw your question my first thought was “What? You mean ‘mama” is back on vogue again?”It’s was huge staring the late ’60s/early ‘70s with the Etta James/Janis Joplin covers of “Tell Mama” - on into the 80’s with “She’s a Bad Mama Jama” by Carl Carlton in ’81 (she’s build, she’s stacked.” It may also be tied to the increasing popularity of the lowrider culture in the mainstream during the ’70s and ‘80s.A man would call a women “mama” because he liked her and/or thought she was hot. It’s similar to a woman calling her boyfriend “daddy” or “papa” and guys who say “come to papa.”Beyond that, both the terms “mama” and “papa” are having a bit of a renaissance in the language right now. While I’m a bit too old to know what terms are au courant for 18-year olds - and without a bit more cultural context - my guess is that the man is indicating that he finds your opinions and behavior worthy of respect, but he also finds you attractive, as in “she’s a hot mama!”Thank you for the A2A, but I’ll admit I’m speculating a bit. :-)
