Why does the NBA have games on Christmas Day?
Not only does the NBA have Christmas Day games, it purposefully schedules high-profile and marquee match-ups -- e.g. a Finals rematch between the Warriors and Cavs this year.Why? Because the NBA is in the entertainment business. Xmas is a time where people get together, and will naturally tune into exciting sports events as a group activity. This leads to higher TV viewership, which translates into more advertising revenue for the League -- not to mention the actual sales from people attending the game live (ticket prices naturally surge).

What can I buy kids for xmas? (age 6)?
I also have a daughter of 6 and like yours she has everything from toys, musical instruments, educational, maths, English and lots of art materials to make different things. Why not take them aboard to euro Disney and even further a field if possible. Where they are able to see a different way of life. One year i decided that for Christmas i helped a charity to feed the homeless, this was an eye opener to see that material things are not the most important thing. Remember if they have everything what is different and unusual that is what you should give them. Good luck
