What Outfit Should My Female Character Wear

Why do we never see a male character wear an outfit like Chun-Li from Street Fighter, or Scarlet Witch or Elektra from Marvel, or Huntress or Raven from DC Comics, etc? Is there a male character dressing like that out there?

Why do we never see a male character wear an outfit like Chun-Li from Street Fighter, or Scarlet Witch or Elektra from Marvel, or Huntress or Raven from DC Comics, etc? Is there a male character dressing like that out there? From some of the Question Asker’s comments I’ve learned he is asking why there are no male characters with exposed legs and wearing thongs with their butt cheeks showing.I think the answer is financial. Comics are a business. They want to make money. I don’t see a large market for these characters dressed such as this.I have to admit I’m attracted to attractively drawn women. I can overlook the men in the skin tight leotards with what looks like a pair of socks stuffed in their shorts. It had never occurred to me before that many of the superheroes must be wearing thongs beneath their spandex until I read another answer to this question. I can’t disagree as it makes sense. But Man thongs with exposed butt cheeks would be too distracting for me and I feel safe guessing that the same goes for a vast majority of comic readers. I’m not judging here just being honest as to what would attract and distract me.So this is why you don’t see males dressed like this in mainstream comics. That said, I’m pretty sure there are some gay comics out there in the independent scene. I’m pretty sure I saw a booth for one at a comic convention decades ago and I have to imagine by now this has grown as homosexuality has become more mainstream and hip.If you seek out these publishers you might find what you are looking for.

Are there any female comic book characters that wear tutus, petticoats or loose clothes?

You should try looking at some anime or manga characters - I'm not sure if thats what you're going for but there are a lot of female characters that wear floaty dresses or tutu's.
Some ones that come to mind are some of the characters from tokyo mew mew or vampire knight.

Which female characters wear the most revealing outfits in DC Comics?

I saw this and it’s companion piece for Marvel comics. I was tempted not to answer because there are just so many revealing outfits out there. That said DC does have a “special case” I figured I’d bring up for fun. Lurking around the fringes of their universe is a character called “The Mighty Endowed” whose real name was Nina Dowed (N. Dowed, get it hahaha… yeah, okay, it’s is pretty bad). She was introduced in “Young Justice” many years ago. Her power is simply she’s simply so well endowed you can do nothing but stare, apparently she walks around naked, and requires at least two men to hold her upright because her breasts are so massive (yet amazingy beautiful apparently). Both genders are awestruck. She is by definition so amazing she cannot be drawn, so when she appears your merely informed as the heroes helplessly stare off panel while she does whatever…. :)Yes, it does exist. :)

What Anime Character Wears Black and Red Outfit?

I was supposed to cosplay Amane Misa of Deathnote, but they cancelled my order for the wig and I can't order from that brand and gave up searching. What female anime character can wear a mostly black dress with red design? It's ok if it is a guy character... I'll just genderbend it...

Why would a female character wear a revealing costume?

Yes, this is in reference to the ongoing controversy/questions as to why female comic book characters wear revealing, skimpy outfits.

But-ignoring the fact that artists are drawing their female characters for men (I'm a guy, by the way)-why would a female character wear a revealing outfit in the first place? For instance, if you were to ask some scantily-clad superheroine why she is wearing the lingerie and fishnet stockings, what answer could she possibly give?

What Female Costume Should I Make My BF Wear To A Costume Party?

You should dress him up as a French Maid, a very sexy one. Totally transform him into a girl, make him shave or wax his body, pluck his eyebrows, get a manicure & pedicure. Get his hair styled (if it's long enough) or get him a wig. You should give him large breasts too, maybe a nice D cup, get the realistic kind of breast forms that he will have to glue to his chest. Get a corset to slim his waist & give him a girlish figure, along with a pair of padded panties for his hips & butt. The rest of his outfit should be a pair of black fishnet stocking, thong, 5" stiletto heels & a black satin French Maid uniform with a frilly white petticoat, along with his little apron & cap.

Why do female cosplayers wear sexualized outfits, but have a problem with male attention?

I’m a red-blooded American male. I don’t do the cosplay thing, but I know some stuff about it from television and the internet.People live in their own heads. They think that everything is somehow about them. You see this:And you think that the woman wearing that costume is doing it because she’s trying to attract you. Well… that may not be the point. In fact, it’s likely not the point. See… she could have dressed any way she wanted and attracted a mate. Better yet, she could have found a mate through any number of avenues, including meeting people at school, work, or the library.Maybe you’re arguing that she should wear something a little more understated. She could have worn this, for example:Look. Totally understated. In fact, I found it by googling “cosplay understated.”Why couldn’t she just wear something like this?I would suggest that she wanted to wear something a bit more well known. She wanted to look like this character:And she pulled it off just fine. Looks the part to me.So if she wants to be like Cammy, what does Cammy want?My guess is that she wants to kick guys in the face. And you can help. Help her realize her goal of being Cammy. Walk up to her and say, “But if you walk around in the Cammi/Mileena costume with your tits/ass hanging out, I’m gonna notice” Do it loudly so that everyone can hear you. Then she can kick you in the face. Everyone around will likely applaud. You may be the most talked about thing at your event.See… for her, it isn’t sexual. It just happens to be that the character was… pre-sexualized. Would that outfit even be that useful for kicking someone in the face?Apparently this lady thinks so:She isn’t interested in you either, by the way. She’s trying to win a competition.Look… a woman showing some skin isn’t an invitation. It doesn’t mean anything except that she is proud of how she looks.Does this mean that you can’t find any of these women attractive? Of course you can! Can you “ogle?” Well… I think the answer is in the word chosen. Ogling is obviously not recommended. Does it mean that you can grab at her? No. If I were standing nearby and saw you do that but didn’t see her put you in your place, I’d do it for her. I’d prefer if she did it herself. I’d much rather watch her dance on your face. You can say, “Hey! You look exactly like Cammy! Good job!” I think that’s best.

Do clothes define the character of a girl?

Not only as a girl , i say no bit i really feel that clothes not always describe someone’s character. It depends on the mentality of the viewer. At one side when a girl wears traditional and full body covering clothes, she is thought as ‘sanskari’ , while when a girl wears modern dresses like midi, shorts, crop top etc. she is said to have forgotten the culture at some places. But this is not the truth. At least anyone shud not hv a problem with girl’s dress. This is ridiculous. If a man wears a transparent dress, he is rarely noticed. But if this happens with a woman, others stare at her like what a crime has she done. Comments are passed on her.As i earlier said, it is the mentality of people. Girls were and are looked in such a way only, in our society. This is soooo wierd guys.I think people shud now change their mindset regarding this.Peace!!!!Plzzz upvote if u think what i wrote is true.

What did the characters in Marvel and DC Comic think when they decided to wear weird costume? Sure you can justify some of them as 'practical' (i.e, Iron-man costume). But for what reason did Scarlet Witch wear that skimpy outfit with weird headgear?

In the case of female characters with skimpy and impractical costumes, their thought process probably went something like “I’m a fictional character in a visual medium that, despite changing reader demographics, is still drawn with an audience of mostly teenage boys in mind. Guess I’m off to the ‘three strips of colourful cloth that barely cover your nipples and crotch’ store!”.I mean, sometimes there’s an in-character explanation, like the garment confers some special power to the wearer or whatever, but the above paragraph is the actual answer. It is worth noting that characters are depicted as deliberately using their highly sexualised appearance in order to beguile and distract their enemies, though in most cases they look like that “just because” (i.e. just because comic fans wanna see boobies”).
