What Position Do You Think Im Good For

What position should I play if I have above average pace, good defending, decent passing, decent dribbling and meh shooting?

Any decent coach will see where is best for you to play despite what you think, it's hard question without seeing you play and a lot of people over rate their own abilities. Other things could come into play like height, if you are 6 foot plus, centre half would be a good option. Defenders comfortable on the ball are highly sought in modern football, if you have above average pace and can dribble and are smaller full back maybe an option. A good midfielder needs to be good at everything for me, but the first step for any footballer is brain, the most gifted players are the ones who know where everyone is on the pitch before they even have the ball, they always find space are always available and are in complete control and full of confidence in their own ability.Think, Paul scholes, xavi, pirlo and iniesta, these guys run games, sometimes unoticed. Whilst the other players may provide the headlines these type imo are the most valuable assets a team has, they control the game, everything runs through them, they pick the passes, always in space, boss the game and rarely ever lose possessionIn 5 minutes watching you I could tell you where your best position would be, you may not agree but as I said any decent coach will tell you, and sometimes you start in a position that is not necessarily preferred by you, but they can see something in you that may develop into something else but it's easier for game time and your development, take Henry started as a winger, Marcus rashford is an example also, currently he plays usually wide, the pressure of striker is huge on young shoulders, I see similarities with him and Henry, he usually plays out wide but has a very good eye for goal. In future he could develop like Henry did into a striker. But for now he is not quite ready.Christiano Ronaldo also started as a wide man, now he plays more striker, some players develop into different things, some players adapt to new positions through, cage and experience. The possibility is endless and without seeing you it is a question that cannot really be answered properly. But maybe it's given you some thoughts

Which cheerleading stunt position do you think is best for me?

Ok, so I'm turning 12 in 3 days, and I just started football cheerleading this year. We do stunting, and there are five positions.
-2 bases
-1 fronting
-1 backing
-1 flyer
ok, so in my group, I'm currently a base. It seems to be working out, but I was wondering what position you think I would be best at. I'm about 5 foot 4 and 105 pounds. I have little upper body strength (I can't do one pull-up), pretty good core strength and very strong legs, and for those who have experience or knowledge, what do you think? Thanks all!

How can I let my football coach know what position I am good at?

I have tried very hard to guess exactly what question you're asking and I am afraid I just don't know. So, I figured I would answer all the variations of the question I could think of, and leave it up to you to decide which is applicable. After wasting time doing that, I realized all the answers were pretty much the same.Ask your coach where he thinks the skills you have would best benefit the team. Play that position, at least for now, even if it isn't the position you want, or think you would be best at. While coaches are not always right, we've probably evaluated a lot more players than you have, and we almost certainly know what we need across the 11 players we have on the field. If this position is not the one you think you are best suited to play, tell the coach which position you feel matches your skills best, making sure to emphasize why you feel that way. "I have great hands and can jump higher than any of our DBs, Coach. You should play me at WR and thrown a fade every down." Be prepared to have your personal assessment of your skills challenged, though. If this is not the position you want to play, then ask the coach what skills you need to develop in order to play that position. Please note the difference between 2 and 3. It's rather large, at least to my mind (as a coach).  In the former, you are making an assessment of your skills and presenting them to the coach. In the latter, you are letting him assess the areas he needs to see you improve to be able to move you to that position. Again, coaches are not always correct, but we very likely have a deeper understanding of the offense and defense we run than you do, and more experience fitting players into those schemes. The third approach demonstrates, in my opinion, a level of maturity that bodes well for a player, both on a football team and in their life.

What job/position do you think is perfect for you?

I see a couple of aspects to this question. Looking at the job I think is perfect to me, it’s either a job I would be able to perform perfectly or a job that adds the most value to me personally. The former would probably be software developer. But I’ve done my best to step beyond that. It’s not a satisfying job for me. I wouldn’t want to do a job that I’d be able to do perfectly, it’d be perfectly boring. The latter is probably the job I’m doing right now, software architect. But I’ve still got a lot to learn. That means that I’m not performing excellent right now, yet I’m learning a lot every day. Right now, this feels perfect for me.So what position do you consider perfect? I don’t know, that’s really of who it’s perfect for.

What position do you play in soccer?

I normally play Left, Inside (Defensive) Mid... In a 4.4.2 formation... I think the hardest position to play is either goilie or center defender, at my level at least (U-14, Competative, Gold Leauge). If I had my choice, I would probably be foward, but I am not nearly fast enough. My position is pretty hard too, because we do the most running.

Why would you be best suited for this position?

You could say something like...

"...because I will bring to the role a high level of commitment, dedication, am prepared to work hard to achieve my goals, and believe that I have the necessary skills and ability to successfully manage this position."

Usually, questions like this aren't actually about "Why are you better than everyone else" literally, but rather they want to know why YOU think you could handle the position. It's really almost a personality test - if you say, "Uh? I dunno - just liked the sound of it" then they will think, Hmm, he doesn't know much. But if you put yourself in a positive light, it will show them you have confidence in yourself and that they should too.

Good luck for your application! Hope you get the job.

What soccer position should I play (great passing, great speed, good dribbling, average shooting, average heading)?

How good is your ability to cross? How tall are you? How much confidence do you have stamina-wise? Are you comfortable with both feet or do you like to rely on one foot?

What soccer position should I play if I'm good at passing, crossing and ok at defending and shooting?

Being good at passing and crossing are great characteristics of a midfielder. As a midfielder you have will have control of the midfield, and control the pace of the game. There are different position in the midfield, you position will depends on what else you are good at beside passing and crossing.Lets say you are better at Defending than you are at shooting. In this case I would recommend playing CDM (Central Defensive Midfielder). In this position you must have a great ball control, be a good defender because it will be your primary role and of course be able to support other midfielder. An example of a CDM is Sergio Busquets. In general CDM are very athletics.Let say your offence is better than your defense. In this case I would recommend playing as CAM (Center Attacking Mid). This position is crucial, because without your support your striker is useless and without your support the midfield is weak. In this position your primary role is creating chance, you become what we often call “playermaker”. An example of a CAM is David Silva, in general CAM are very talented player. There is some other Midfielder positions but you usually in those position when you are talented in something. Lets say you are a very skillful player or have a very good left good or very good right foot. In this case you will most likely play on the wing such as LM, RM LW, RW. An example of this is Eden Hazard. You best chance are playing as a midfielder but where in the midfield depends on you. Are you skillful or are you athletic ?

I have an interview with Google for an SWE position. However, I find it difficult to study for the interview as I don't believe I'm good enough. What can I do to overcome this feeling?

I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is, many of us at Google felt the same way when we interviewed before we were hired. The bad news is, many of us felt that way even more after we started working here with our smart, experienced coworkers. We jokingly call it the "Noogler Inferiority Complex." So if you feel this way now, you may still feel this way even in the best case scenario. Eventually it will pass: you look back at all you have achieved and realize that you are a productive contributor, and you realize that your coworkers aren't demigods; they're human beings just like you.If it helps to calm your nerves, you can think of it this way: hiring is an imperfect process, and Google's hiring committee tries to err on the side of "missing a good candidate" over "hiring a bad candidate." This leads to some candidates getting rejected that probably would have succeeded at Google. So, if you don't get a job offer from this interview, it doesn't mean that you're not a good software engineer. If you are feeling anxious because you feel that this opportunity is the most important thing that will ever happen to you, it might help to think of this interview as a "long shot." Then hopefully you can relax about it and just let whatever happens happen. Even if you don't get hired, you might find the experience of interviewing to be interesting, and it can be a nice excuse to dedicate some time to review core computer science concepts, which could be rewarding in itself. Thanks for taking the time to consider working at Google, and best of luck wherever life takes you.
