Questions to ask my personal trainer?

maybe ask about how many hours a day should you be effectively exercising, working out, if any areas of the body you need to work on especially, then ask about the types of exercise you should be undertaking concerning that area.

When is the best time to exercise after work, how many hours after a meal, etc?

How to rehydrate the body?

What are the best types of vitamins to aid the development?

How many calories are burned from a couple of hours workout?

What is the best type of foods to eat to aid my development?

I'm Aine's sister and i don't know if i want to be a personal trainer or nutritionist. i have a interview with a personal trainer to ask her why she was a personal trainer and to ask her more questions. but i don't have that much questions, i only have 2 questions. they are: why did you choose to become a personal trainer and what college did you go to for your degree? can you please post some questions i should ask the personal trainer???

Some Common questions:

1. DO you feel more comfortable if you interview a new client and create the routine, or more comfortable if you see a client and use a routine that has already been designed and is not created by you?

2. What do you credit as your greatest resource in your education as a trainer, your personal fitness background, your certification, your degree, or some combination of those?

3. What is your preferred training schedule?

What are the best questions to ask a personal trainer ?

As a trainer, I usually ask a lot of the questions on the initial visit. What is your health history? What are your limitations? What are your goals? What are you legitimately prepared to do to reach your goals? What activities do you enjoy? How ofetn and for how long each session can you commit to coming to the gym?

You can ask for our credentials, how we can work with your goals in mind, and how we might find a workout for you that you can stick to. You might ask what type of emotional support we can offer you during your weight loss, do we have any nutritional background? If we can do a body composite test before, during, and after you program?

Hiring a personal trainer is a great way to get and stay motivated! Make sure the trainer tou hire is someone you are comfortable speaking to... we usually end up becoming your pseudo therapists!!! If you are uncomfortable or unsure of the trainer the gym has set you up with, ask for another.... you won't hurt his/her feelings.... we want the relationship to be a lasting and meaningful one for both of us!

Personal trainer questions?

right now I am at the University of Central Florida, and going for a B.A. or M.A. in sports and fitness. But I am really struggling with the prerequisites (math and such) even been diagnosed with depression, so I am looking around at other options that would be better for me personally. And as I look around the web I notice that people with just plain personal trainer certifications are making as much as college grads in this field. Is it worth it to try and get the degree or should I just get certified? Or any other advice? Thank you very much.

What questions should a personal trainer ask a client in a consultation?

Focus on safety and effectiveness. Having given the PAR-Q is an important first step. After that, measure his/her blood pressure, and resting heart rate.

Besides that, there are probably 20 questions you could ask. First of all, ask about their goal. Then, ask about training history, family history, what type of job they have, what activities they enjoy, how much time they have per week to train with you, questions about their lifestyle, nutrition, etc.

All of these variables, and perhaps others should go into designing a safe and effective program.
