What Questions Would You Ask An Aspiring Manager

What are the best interview questions to ask a singer songwriter?

I can’t say they would be “the best,” but here are the questions I would begin with and then see where the interview goes.Primary Objective: to elicit from the guest the emotional reason they write and sing songs. What joy do they get from it? What catharsis? It’s actually the same as when you interview a truck driver.— What got you to write songs? (childhood trauma, happiness, money?)—Can you remember the first time you wrote a song? Describe it to me.— Who gave you the support to keep writing in the beginning? Who did you play the early songs for?—What do you feel like when you play one of your songs and people applaud? Is it an affirmation or an irritation?—Professional songwriters spend years on their craft. Why not use their songs?— What is better about a song sung by the writer?—Are you more of a singer or more of a song-writer?See where it goes.

How do you become a Hedge Fund manager?

Jerry's absolutely right I just think that if you switch up the order a bit it can help you excel better.
1st work really hard on your SAT's many employers looking for junior analysts in Investment banking/hedge funds ask for them.

then go to the top business school you can get into, money and loans for this should not worry you. Many of the top employers only recruit from top ten business schools. I would also suggest joining a fraternity at one of these ambitious schools, the alumni connections you make could be priceless.

You need to be around the top of your class to get your foot in the door, 3.5 GPA minimum is a norm.

As for the CFA you can begin this step in your last year of college. Being able to say that you've passed level 1 exam while you were in college should look really good on a resume.

I'm still a student, but I didn't realize that I wanted to be an equity portfolio manager until half way through my college career. Since then I've just worked on raising my GPA and studying investment on my own but I plan on enrolling in the CFA program and completing level I before I graduate.

Jerry's path with a few tweeks will ensure that you are making great money throughout your career(the median income of a CFA and MBA holder after 10 years of experience is $250,000). With a little bit of luck and a ton of ambition and drive you could end up managing a hedgefund.
