What Shoes Is Dexter Wearing

Should I wear socks with Sperry boat shoes?

I rarely do, but I would say it depends on the weather. I might wear them with socks in winter (if there is no snow) but I never wore them with socks when sailing. They were designed to be worn without socks. This is particularly important when sailing in small boats on choppy days. When your Top-Siders get wet, the dye from the leather will leak onto your feet and turn your toes reddish brown. But the shoes will will be comfortable when damp. If you keep wearing them until they dry they will conform to the shape of your feet. (If you sail in salt water you can hose them off when you come back to shore.)If you were to wear socks, they would probably start to feel strange once they got soggy and your feet might slide about in the shoes. And of course the dye will stain your socks.Sebago and Sperry, Breaking-In, Boating and LoafingBoat Shoes History, Style, How to Wear, Buy & Care GuideHow to Wear Boat Shoes and Rock Your BoatBy Antontushnov - Own work, CC BY-SA 3.0, File:Sperry.jpg - Wikimedia Commons

Why does Dexter always wear a bright pink shirt?

I havent started watching this season, but as always he hides in plain sight. If everyone sees you as something else then that is the best type of invisibility.

What undershirt does Dexter wear in the opening of the show?

@The Other Pizza Boy I really appreciate the answer but I'm not looking for his kill shirt. I would like to know if anybody recognizes the white undershirt he puts on in the opening scene, it looks super comfy.

Why do bowling alleys require you to wear bowling shoes?

Bowling shoes (as long as they are worn only while bowling) protect the approaches and the bowlers. The last step that a bowler takes before releasing the ball is actually a slide - the whole body is moving forward as the ball is released. Bowling shoes have a sole that allows this type of slide. If you wear ordinary tennis shoes, you won't slide, and you'll be putting a tremendous amount of strain on your shoulder.Furthermore, the slide requires a clean approach (the reason why bowling centers don't allow food and drink in the approach area). If you wear street shoes, you're bringing in dirt from the outside, and that dirt deposited on the approach can lead to either sticks or slips, both of which increase the bowler's risk of injury. You should remove your bowling shoes whenever you use the restrooms or go into the bar area, for the same reason.

Why did Julie Benz (Rita) want to leave the TV show Dexter?

Julie Benz didn't want to leave Dexter. Actually she was kinda pissed that they killed her off. She wouldn't even talk to the creator/producers after she found out. The writers said that the show was getting too routine and Rita needed to go. This way it would open up a whole new side of emotions from Dexter and the writers would have more wiggle room.

What kind of shoes can you bowl in?

If you bowl in leagues and tournaments you can wear rubber soled shoes as long as the sole does not leave a residue and does not mark the surface of the approach. That's in the case of experienced bowlers that do not slide, but rather plant their feet at the foul line. I crossed lanes with a few professional bowlers that used regular "Keds" type tennis shoes because they did not slide at all and needed the extra grip for their specific style of approach. One example is PBA Champion Michael Haugen Jr.

For bowling, you have to wear the rental house shoes unless you have your own pair of bowling shoes (Linds, Brunswick, Dexter, Etonic, Dynothane, Elite, etc.....) or the type of tennis shoes mentioned above, if you are used to bowling in them.
