What Should I Apply On My Head To Get Cooling And Soothing Effect

Can I apply aloe vera gel to my face every night after washing my face, and leave it on overnight while sleeping? Are there any side effects? Is it useful ?

Yes, absolutely! There's nothing wrong in doing so. But yes, make sure that the Aloe vera gel you use is extracted from the plant as nothing is better than original extracted one. The gel which does not smell is of pure Aloe. Before applying it, watch your watch with a gentle cleanser, and apply it in moderate amount, you don't want it to spread and mess around.  Avoid applying it near the eyes and on the lips. Apply and then gently massage for 5-7 minutes and let it dry. Wash your face with water if you feel stretchy and applying a light moisturizer over it and you're good to go.Hope it helps. How can I cool off and sleep when it's super hot outside and my dad won't let us keep the air con on at night?

It's so hot I can't sleep! He lets us have the air con on during the day but says its too expensive to keep it running thru the night. I've had a hard time sleeping this whole week because it's too hot. We're in the US for the summer and it gets so much hotter here than at home.

What else can I do? I can't just eat ice cream round the clock.

My dog is itching to his death what should I do?

Tiffany,

Hi. I'm a vet tech as well as an owner of a very allergic german shepard. First thing is stop using the huggie wipes. Warm water will do fine, something in the wipes could cause a reaction. I think another writer suggested checking for fleas or mites. Both of these can cause allergic reactions. Flea allergies can cause them to scratch and bite. Second, food allergies can also cause issues. Dogs are usually allergic to meat proteins, soy, wheat, corn. You could try doing a food trial, where you feed something very basic like HA (from purina which is expensive). HA has nothing that could cause allergies in it. However my best advice is to seek a veterinary allergy specialist. Allergies in dogs can be very frustrating and hard to watch your friend go through it. The best thing I ever did was take Dags to a specialist. I found out what she was allergic to and help control her outbreaks. Trust me I didn't want to take her to one because I knew it would be expensive, but after watching her suffer for so long I couldn't do it anymore. My vets, who are just regular vets, were not really knowledgable about allergies. The best thing they could do was offer steroids. However I wanted to FIX the problem not control the outbreaks. It was well worth the money to take her. They will want you to put your pug on steroids (most likely) to help reduce the allergic reaction (the antibiotics were given probably because he had scratched himself raw and they wanted to stop an infection). Then they will help you narrow down what it is allergic to and eventually elevate the problem. Allergic outbreaks can come in waves, you think they are getting better then boom it pops up again. The best thing for your sanity and your dog's is to go see a specialist. Hope this helps some.

How to stop burning from touching penis after cutting hot pepper?

LOL ....Wash your hands well and apply body lotion on it. Use gloves and put some on the penis. Use ice to cool the area that is burning. Do not touch penis again even after washing hands as pepper essence can still be there and can cause more irritation.
