What kind of pet should I buy/pet suggestions?
I've decided to get a companion, but I can't figure it out. I love cats but my mother is allergic. I do not like dogs, rodents, or birds, but I like snakes. Is there anything else anyone could suggest?

Firstly it depends on your budgeti would prefer nikon and in nikon i suggest d5100 or d5200 for a beginnerif u go for canon i suggest u to go for canon 600d.i my self own a nikond5200 . It is simply amazing. for a bit lower budget u can go fro canon 1100d or 1200d (or) nikon d3100 or d3200.if u are confused about choosing between nikon and canon just think of ur need of it....and then compare between nikon(model which u prefer) and canon(model which u prefer) and go for the one which justifies ur needs.than all the above the most important is to know the camera you are going to buy.

Should I spank my 8 year old daughter? If so, any suggestions on how or experience?
A child of 8 is old enough to understand "logical consequences." For example, if the child broke something, make the child do chores to earn money until they can replace, or make-up for, what they broke. Or, if a child is sassy and talks back, you can make them miss an activity that they love, and instead spend that time writing an apology or a paragraph about why it is important to be respectful to their parents. The beauty of logical consequences is that if you tailor the punishment to fit the crime it is often more of a deterrent for the child because it is not over so quickly (ie. spanking), it lets the child keep their dignity, it allows you to keep your cool and act like a responsible adult, and it teaches the child many things in the process - most importantly, that they are worth your time to discipline them with thought and respect.
