What should I name my kitten?
I recently adopted a male Siamese kitten. I'm having a hard time coming up with a name for him. Right now I have the name Charlie. I really like the classy names and cats respond better to the ee sound. Do you think this name fits him? If not what should I name him. He's very shy at first but once house get to know him he loves to play.

Most of my cats were adults when they came to me. Frequently they had shelter names that may or may not have been their original ones. When they came home, I just observed the cat, visited with them and generally waited until a name came to me. Many times the cat would have been in my lap staring at me, when inspiration struck. Was it mental telepathy from kitty, knowing we humans have a need to label everything important (and not so important) to us, or our subconscious mind mulling over the problem until it rises to our conscious mind? I don't know how it works, I just know it does. Somehow over the years all of my kitties have had names that really suit them. I have a shelter rescue now who had the name of Chloe. It was her shelter name, but somehow it seemed to suit her, so I left her with that name. ChloeOne of my old dogs had a shelter name that didn't suit him at all. I asked them what was his real name when he was surrendered, they told me. It definitely suited him and he was very happy to have me address him with it, getting excited and wagging his tail.Blue

Mt Sister has a cat just like that and she named after and artist (Catia, for her painted face!!!) I think is how you would spell it but this could maybe help!! And if not Oreo or Cookie would be cute!!

What should I name my new Bengal kitten? We recently got an adorable female Bengal kitten. (Bengal kittens resemble a leopard in their markings.) I just cannot figure out a name! The breed is known for being very outgoing and energetic. Our girl in particular is very crazy and runs around all over. Here are some I have thought of. I would love any other suggestions!
