What Should I Wear With These Doc Martens

How do I wear these Doc Martens?

Honestly, I don't think those are really all that nice. They won't last nearly as long as normal doc martens that are made out of leather.
Also to the person above me that said people that wear docs are labeled as blah blah blah... That's not true. it really depends on how you wear them.
Ok, so assuming you're a girl..... You can wear them over skinny jeans for a more bold statement, or under bootcut if you want to tone it down. You can wear crew socks/leg warmers/knee high socks so that they're scrunched down and just peek above the top of the boot. <--- Wear it that way over tights and a skirt or some shorts like this: http://images0.chictopia.com/photos/Tama...
Or like this: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3117/2614...

Honestly though, the only way doc's will look good that way is if you get leather ones. The way the ones you chose are a bit.... gimmicky? Idk, just my opinion. Good luck!

Can I wear Doc Martens shoes in Manali?

Why couldn’t you? Thus, these are ‘urban’ shoes, not the ones to wear if you go hiking. The air-soles won’t like to walk on rocks for very long, AFAIK, soles and FUBAR in about a week of hiking while on macadam, a pair of DM lasting for 10 years or more is not uncommon. You have wonderful “charas” in Manali, sadly, it has became impossible to find here.

How to Wear Doc Martens with Jeans?

I don't really own any pairs of skinny jeans (look terrible on me IMO, makes short people look like they have stubby legs LOL)

Anyways, I was looking into getting the 18 eyelet one and then it occured to me that I mostly own jeans with a bit of a flare in them.
s there anyway I can somehow jame my jeans into my boots or will that just look terrible?

Should i wear doc martens to prom? ?

Hi,

It really depends on the look you want to portray.
Based on this dress I am assuming you want a more feminine look???
If so then definitely not.
A pair of heels will really set this dress off - red or black. You don't have to go for high heels - a two or two and half inch heel will look great. Would suggest a closed toe is best (personal preference) - so not a sandal.
A pair of ballet flats will also go really well with this outfit.

Enjoy the prom.

It is important that you be true to yourself and be comfortable in what you wear. Not the best person to comment to the alternative choice in footwear, but my leaning in looking different would be to go with somesort of flat boot. But as I said be comfortable in what you are wearing both from the aspect of you wearing it and the response you get.

What colours to wear with purple doc martens?

Those are super nice boots! You can wear these with jeans, sheer tights, skirts, anything really! As for your tops, maybe go with something that has a little bit of that shade of purple, and wear the boots. That would bring out that specific color, since you'd wear an item with a bit of that purple and another item that's entirely that specific shade. Here are a few ideas:

I hope I could help in some way! :)

How do you make your Dr.Martens comfortable to wear?

Hey Lindsey, thanks for the A2A :)Well, for many all-leather shoes and boots, you wear them. You have to break them in by wearing them. This does a couple of things; it softens the leather and it conforms the leather to the unique characteristics of your feet. And that just takes time. And while you’re breaking them in your Docs aren’t going to be their most comfortable.I would suggest you get some of the Docs Shoe Balm …You can also use some mink oil on them:Using either of these products will help soften the leather and protect it …keep it from drying out …and also give a bit of water repellency. And they’ll keep your Docs lookin’ good, tooIf that “Air Walk” sole isn’t doin’ it for ya with a cushy enough ride, then you can slip in some cushion insoles to help soften things up that way. Just be careful with the insoles since they take up space in the shoe and may cause your Docs to fit too tightly. Or you might just try wearing a bulkier sock …like hiking, work or boot socks. But in the end it all boils down to simply wearing them and allowing them to break in. Sometimes there’s no way around it.

Do doc martens have a non slip sole?

Actually, I don't have a "doc fetish". I got my first pair only a few months ago and don't wear them a lot actually. I'd just wear them if they weren't red and we're required to wear black. The soles are just comfortable since I'm going to be on my feet all day.

Is it OK to wear Doc Marten boots with shorts?

No!

Will i get too much hassle from wearing doc martens to airport security?

probably, most likely, just because they're trained to be pests.

remember, its innocent until proven guilty. in modern america, it feels like its the other way around. so .. be careful who you and your family vote for. study your canditates carefully, and compare different historical events with what is going on right now. think of 9/11 and reichstag.

Are doc martens good in rain and snow?

Hi, almost every Dr Martens is good in rain, but not every Dr Martens is good in snow.
The model you choose is not as good in rain and snow, because the upper is made in textile, not in leather; i don't know how much they would be waterproof.
If you want a boot that is good for rain go with the leather ones, like these ones:

or:

http://www.dmusastore.com/p-1926-1460-wo...
http://www.dmusastore.com/p-2637-1460-w.aspx

They are all floral, about 120$ on the Dr Martens website; i own the black floral ones, and i can tell you they survive in rain, but not as well in snow: for have both a good rain and snow boot, i suggest you to take a pair of patent ones, like these:
http://www.buy-dr-martens.com/drma14grcrpa.html
I have them and i assure you that they are 100% rain-snow resistant.

Hope this helps!
