What do American students usually wear to high school?
It depends on the school.I never attended a school with uniforms or even a well established dresscode.I often wore leggings/sweatpants or running shorts with t-shirts.Senior year looked a lot like this;Senior yearIt was a bunch of college t-shirts, before we applied and a bunch more after we were accepted. Not sure why you might be asking, but I am a petite woman and I LOVE SHOPPING IN THE KIDS SECTION, it’s 30% CHEAPER!!!!Since my weight fluctuates as does the size of my booty, I can do a range of sizes in kid clothes. Size 12/14 if I am slim. Size 16 if I have a little something extra in the trunk. These are equivalent to size 0,2 and possibly a 4. Different brands have different standards for sizing. Some run larger, some run smaller.For jeans, there are additional features like regular, long or short for varying heights and builds. But generally the above would apply. 14 and 16 are the largest kid’s sizes. These would be the same as the smallest woman’s clothing sizes.This is a Children’s Place size chart:You will note that the smallest women’s jeans/pants are around 24/25 inch waist.
