What South Park Episode Is About Columbine School Shooting

Is it true that The Simpsons and South Park caused the moral bankruptcy of millennials? If so, exactly how ruinous are these shows?

I reject your hypothesis that any TV show, or any type of music for that matter, has any correlation to the moral bankruptcy of any given generation. This is an idea that has been bandied about by “concerned” parents for as long as I can remember. Many parents in the 50s and 60s thought that Elvis Presley and The Beatles were surely a sign of the decline of civilization as we know it.In my time, Kiss and The Eagles were said to be worshipping Satan in their music. After that it was Marilyn Manson, who was actually blamed for the mass shooting at Columbine High School.Yes, I know these aren't TV shows, but the same principal applies. Compared with other animated shows currently on TV, I find The Simpsons to just barely push their content into the PG level. As for South Park, I think it's creators are two of the most relevant social commentators of my generation. Here's the thing: parents aren't monitoring what their kids watch, or watching shows with them. If they were, they would inevitably find a teachable moment during the airing of these shows. What would be so much worse than kids watching a show that is not age appropriate for them, would be the censorship of free speech.Whenever I hear this type of rhetoric, it reminds me of a quote attributed to Gandhi, which is: “Intolerance betrays lack of faith in one's cause.” Meaning, if parents have faith in the job they have done raising their children, they will be confident in that child's ability to make the right choice. If not, they complain about TV and music corrupting their children.

Did South Park do an episode about Columbine?

Since South Park makes episodes about literally every major news story and Matt Stone went to Columbine High School it'd seem more than logical for there to be a South Park episode about the shooting that happened there but I've been looking and I can't seem to find one

Why have there been so many mass shootings in Colorado and Colorado Springs? Is it merely a coincidence that Colorado Springs is sometimes called the "Christian Mecca"?

Colorado Springs is a target due to: 1 The Christian Mecca as some call it (War on Christians is going strong).  2 because it is in an open carry county (war on guns is going strong).  3. Because it has been a Republican/Conservative stronghold for quite a long time, many Leftist Democrat Progressive (mostly California) liberals have moved there to try to change the culture and weaken the voting block.  You know, they ruin their own state then move to another good relatively crime free area and start all over again.  It was a pretty clean city in the 70's and 80's the end of the 80's was the influx.  Also Texans like it, but the stream from California is documented in Colorado springs and well, all the once good Cities and Counties.  Larimer County has had this problem as well and has virtually completely flipped from it's original roots. Some of the News reports you here across the nation about these latest incidence in Colorado Springs are pure lies and completely wrong.  I have seen them unfold from beginning to end. Even if they don't match the Political Agenda... they try to bend the facts, leave out important details in order to make it match the narrative.  Then suddenly it drops off the radar because they realize they can't go all the way with the, well let's just call it what it is, lies.  so the story drops.Gun Violence is rare in CS lots of great people there.  Over Thanks giving Weekend in Detroit 82 shootings many injuries and 15 deaths.  One weekend.  Never heard about that on the NEWS.  did you?  Peace
