What The F Is Wrong With My Coach

I'm sleeping with my coach?

Summary of my situation:
I'm 17 and that's the legal consent age of Missouri. My coach is a 25 year old male.
I'm on the diving team for my high school. We have the two real coaches from my school and a seperate coach to teach diving at our local city pool.
My coach isn't a teacher but technically works for my district since he still coaches some of the girls.
We knew each other before the season but were still involved with each other when I joined diving (he suggested it.)

He was fine with keeping practice related anything seperate from our dating but recently has had second thoughts. I had hung out with him and his visiting friend from out-of-state one night and when I left, his friend told him it was wrong and made him scared to be with me anymore.

So what I'm asking, I know it's frowned upon but is this technically illegal and can he get in trouble if anybody found out?

My coach benched me?

ok so i had joined a basketball team and i started our first game and in that game i got (i'm not lying about these stats)
38 points, i hit 16 of 21 from the field, and 5 of 6 freethrows, i got 8 acssets and 6 rebounds and a steal. I wasn't hogging the ball or anything i shot when they passed it to me and when i was open. Then in our next 2 games the coach played me for about 5 mins. total. Even after i played what i thought was a pretty good game. i ask the coach and he said "its best for the team that u don't play to much" i can understand not having me play as long as i did in the first game, if he thinks i was hogging or something but to stop playing al togather just doesn't make sence to me. So is there something i did wrong? i don't get it.

My soccer coach spanked me, was i the one in rong?

I am 15 year old boy. i live with my dad. i play soccer outwith
school and over the last 2 months i have not been doin to well. i
used to be really good. but i have not been concentrating on it so
much because i got a girlfriend and we been goin out. last wek when
i went in to soccer practise i was late and the coach has told me
to stay behind after practise. he kept on goin on about how am
always late and that am not doin good enough in games. i stayed
behind and he said he was goin to spank me. i live with my dad
cause my mum is not around and he spanks me sometimes if i do
somethin rong. the last time he spanked me was about 2 weeks ago
cause he caught me with my girlfriend in my bed kissin. i told him
we had not had sex and that if we were goin to i would use condom.
he spanked me and told me i was not to see her again. but when
coach said he was goin to spank me i kicked him and ran home cause
i was not goin to let him. the only person who has spanked me is my
dad and i was not goin to let coach spank me. when i got home he
had spoke to my dad on phone and my dad said he had told him it had
been ok to spank me. cause of what i did my dad spanked me that
night and the next day my dad took me to see coach when everyone on my team was gone home, and my dad told me to take my pants off and strip to my jockstrap,
my dad allowed him to spank me 20 times with a wooden paddle on my bare
a$$. my dad is friends with the coach and has given him permission
to spank me any time i am not focusin on the game. a boy got
spanked in the team once before and it was like a year ago, but now
i got spanked and everyone in team nos cause i had to go into
shower and my butt is red. i spoke to my dad about quiting and he
said i am not quitting cause of this , and he says the coach will
spank me any time i need it. I really like sccer , but now i am
beigging to hate the coach and all the boys makin fun of me. i cant
really go to police because i have been in trouble with them before
when i was younger and an officer told my dad to spank me. my dad says i have to take my punishment like a man and just work my hardest at the game.was i the one in the rong? will coach keep on spanking me? and am i makin big deal out of nothin?

Why did my coach pat my head?

Understand this:A male teacher’s greatest fear is the accusation of inappropriate conduct toward a female student. It can ruin his life.A lot of times I’m tempted to show affection to students in the same way I would show affection to people I care about outside of school. Sometimes this means a hug. But my teacher brain says “DANGER WILL ROBINSON” and so I don’t hug students with a few exceptions. My guess is that’s the thought process he went through. He might have been going to give you a hug, but thought about it and had to quickly plot a course correction quickly, leading to the awkward head pat. This could be all wrong (I’m not in your coach’s head) but it is the first thing that came to mind.

Basketball teammate won't stop coaching me!?

This is the type of garbage I hate too, I mean HATE and my number one pet peeve in basketball. I always want to be in the NBA and always want to be better. Back in high school I had teammates nagging me all the time. I came back to school I after a dropped out for a year, I had social anxiety disorder (still do) so I wasnt a social person, and my teammate(s) shook my confidence so I missed my shots, when coach told me to be point guard my teammates wouldnt give me a chance, and they didnt trust me to do anything so they never passed to me. All I could do is play good defense (best in team). Highschool basketball was taken from me by 4 or 5 teammates and they weren't serious about winning. I wanted to go to another school but then if I did that I wouldnt be aloud to play in due to league rules (which was stupid, and it was my last high school year). I could of been the best in the region but if there's no good chemistry then forget it. You have to prove your worth in practice, and PRACTICE A LOT to bettr yourself. If he still nags on you then there's nothing much you can do except to demand some respect and tell him to shut up, you play ball to have fun and enjoy the game and he's ruining that. If he provokes you teach him a lesson (it's ok to fight back especially when it's not your fault).

My parents say I never smile? and my coach?

I'm 15 (f) and have 3 brothers. My parents always complain to me that I never smile or laugh whereas my brothers are always happy.
I understand you smile or laugh when talking to people, or having conversations, but for example:
We're eating dinner and I just find used a conversation with brother. After that, I just quietyly eat. And then my mother out of the open points out, "how come you never smile" and my dad's like "yeah seriously" and I'm like, "why would I be smiling right now? This is my straight face."

Ex: my dad went to a different state fir a few days and took me with him. On our way from the hotel to my uncle's house i had a straight face, and then my dad goes "why do you never laugh, why are you always frowning?" And I said, "well, what's there to smile about, I'm bored. And I'm not frowning, this is my straight face." And he's like, "well smile every time I look at you you're frowning, it's not good to be that person." And I said, "I said, YES, but you need a reason to smile. You don't just smile out of the open for no reason. It's not like you're always smiling, you only smile when there's something to smile about."

And it's not just my parents.

I was at track practice, and the coach goes, "just smile." Like, I'm doing so many continuous burpees, I'm thirsty, and I'm tired as hell, why would I be smiling?

But the coach never says that to everyone else, and my parents don't say it to my brothers.

I guess my straight face looks like a frown?

Experiences?

How do i convince my coach i play fullback

You gotta have attitude and show your coach that you got balls and that you really want the position and that you'll whatever it takes to get what you want and prove him that you'll be a good FB!

Jay- Just cause I'm a Freshmen with no position thanks to health problems doesn't mean I don't know these kind of situations .. Plus my brother who is in college has told me all of this.

Should I tell my coach a player is drinking?

Yes. Don’t listen to everyone else saying “Don’t be a snitch”. An athlete drinking is a major problem to his health. This can result in future problems and maybe even death. Their is no such thing a snitching about something as serious as this. This is a major problem. If you are a high school student or a professional athlete, and the dangers are still present. Drinking can affect his emotional behavior, his skill, and everything else. It is better to get rid of the problem now than wait for the problem to kill him. You need to at least tell someone. If you don’t feel comfortable telling you coach, then tell your parents or the parents of the athlete drinking. Drinking is an issue that can’t be shrugged off. Tell some one immediately.

I'm starting to hate basketball because of my coach?

This has happened to me a couple times also, and from experience i'm gonna say to definetlty not give up. It is such a fun game, the coach is only doing this to omake you better and to push you to become a better player, try to remember your plays, get some change or rocks or somthing and run through the plays with them, and always remember to cut for the ball, when your on the court, never stand still. On defence, remember to move your feet and keep your hips infront of the person your guarding. When your out there remember to have fun, thats what the game is about. Practice makes perfect, that might sound cliche but do it, belive me it helps A LOT. How do you think that other girl is so good? she probably dedicated hours and hours of practice in. Before your game try not to think about the outcome of the game, thats what makes you nervous. When your warming up, slap the basketball to get the blood pumping through your hands, this helps you controll the ball a lot better. Remember when your on the court be smart, and stay aggresive, go after offensive reb. for second chance points, thats the easiest way to score. Good Luck!!
