What Time And Day Does Walking Dead Come On In Pacific Time

What time is The Walking Dead on in Oregon?

now here is a show thats worth watching. what time its on in oregon probably 7 pm.

What would be your plan of action if there were a "The Walking Dead" style zombie outbreak in your country?

I live in Florida just a few miles south of the Daytona Speedway and I really believe that if you went inside the Speedway that you could easily block the access points just by putting a few cars nose to tail across the entrances which by the way are not that big and there is a lake inside the Speedway with fish so as long as it was not too many people, you could have fish to eat and there is plenty of space in the pit row areas to grow food. Where I live a few miles away there is a target, home depot right across the street so you could get some seeds and other supplies and move in to the speedway and you could use the upper levels which have areas that are in closed so you would be able to stay out of the rain and you could see all around for miles if you went to the very top. I am not a nascar fan, but I have lived here my whole life and have taken the tour a few times. The place is so huge that it takes hours to get all the people out. Second option, I would get on a cruise ship just south of my area and hold up there. Once the door is closed and the gang plank removed, the windows are too small for any zombie to get through and there is pool water if you need it and areas on the deck with a few inches of soil you could maybe grow some veggies like tomatoes or something that grows easy in small spaces. I would not plan on moving the ship as I would not have any idea how so I would just stay there where its anchored.

Why don't people in the “Walking Dead” TV series move to an island?

I puzzled over this too. On a small enough island it would be easy to clear all the walkers and live walker free right?See while this is nice and rosy in theory you'll have several problems - Supplies - Food, Water, Medicine. An island won't have unlimited resources so scavenging on land will be a necessity. You'll have to make frequent trips to a nearby landmass large enough to support the people you're with. With scavenging comes the need of a good boat. To power this boat you're going to need fuel - depending on how far away your island is. Sailing a boat isn't easy. You could say jumping into a boat with little or no experience and setting out to sea is only slightly less foolish than hopping into an airplane and trying to fly somewhere with little or no experience. Island perfect for survival may already be full to capacity. The same problems that plagued the would-be survivors on the mainland will be even worse here: no food, no drinking water, no sanitation facilities, no medicine, no shelter.Plus on an island you won't have any infrastructure like houses so no shelter. Storms on an island are way worse than on mainland and it really will be a pretty uncomfortable stay.

What do Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, and Man in the High Castle reveal about genocide or our attitudes about genocide?

Great question! I have watched and enjoyed all three (less so the Walking Dead. Got bored after the first series). First, some personal background. At university I was vice president of a student society that was all about anti-genocide campaigning, awareness raising and genocide commemoration (Oxford Aegis Society, affiliated to the Aegis Trust, the UK's only anti-genocide qua genocide NGO, which runs the Holocaust Memorial Centre). In particular, we campaigned a lot on Darfur, which was very high up in the student consciousness at the time. I have protested against far right politicians and Holocaust deniers. I have met quite a few Holocaust survivors. I will watch movies about genocide (like the excellent Shooting Dogs about Rwanda) for fun. It is fair to say that I think about genocide more than your average British person. With those preliminaries out of the way, I do not think those shows tell us too much about public attitudes to genocide. There are no real genocides in GoT or TWD (nearest would be Daenerys' crucifixion of the Myreenese, and that doesn't fit the bill really), and the genocide angle in High Castle is more minimal than it might have been (though it is definitely there, thankfully). I was surprised at how the Japanese were sort of written as good guys, when in reality they were moral monsters as well. High Castle reconfirms our fascination with the Nazis, and used a few of the standard tropes (eg. Joe Blake is sort of the tragic nazi trope that is common in cinema). It shows that we can continue to hang interesting stories off of fascism. Great question though!

What time does my show start if it says 9/8c ?

I'm in San Diego so I guess i'm in Pacific Time though i'm no so sure about it. A small explanation would be appreciated.

note: just if you are curious i want to watch The Walking Dead season 2 premiere :P

Thanks.

How long would the survivors on The Walking Dead last in Hawaii?

I've never been to Hawaii, but a few things come to mind. First off, there is a large military presence in Hawaii that would become fairly isolated there (meaning that the US government would have a hard time coming up with the transportation resources to move them all to the mainland). They could fight the undead locally with considerable firepower and a high ratio of soldiers/sailors to walkers. Also there is the obvious: It's an island. Once the undead were put in check, the residents would not have to worry all that much about migrating hordes of walkers coming from other areas. However, these same assets are also liabilities. I have read that Hawaii makes about 40% of its' revenue from tourism. This tells me that the islands themselves do not have a wealth of natural resources. Farmland, energy, fresh water and industry are probably all in short supply if the island was to try to become self sufficient to support the resident population. I suspect that Hawaii has been heavily dependent on imports from our west coast and Asia for a long time. And it is a LONG way to go to try to get help or bring supplies back (about 2500 miles to one-way San Diego). I also suspect that Hawaiins, as a rule, are not all that well armed, so the average citizen might not be able to defend himself and his family as well as, say, the average Texan. That is a generalization, of course, but I just have never heard of Hawaii being a big pro-gun state. The military could become a problem too, as local commanders, cut off from their superiors in DC, might realize that they have the real physical control of the islands' resources, and no one to tell them what they cannot do anymore. It is almost to be expected that some form of martial law would be imposed in the state when all hell starts breaking loose. Lastly, refugees could become a problem, as people flee from other unsustainable Pacific island and possibly even the overrun main lands of Japan and America.

Anime for a first time watcher?

The best place to start is with the simple but wonderful animes, and from there you can start with the big chunky ones.
For the starters, I really recommend something a bit human like or a sport anime (sport animes are sooo good btw) try:

-Haikyuu!! (it's a volleyball anime with only 25 episodes . it's really epic and intense at times with bits of humour too!)
-Free! and Free! Eternal Summer (it's a swimming anime, i totally totally recommend this!! it's so beautiful and well written. great art and really hot guys <33)

I also recommend these animes for starters (you should watch these):

-DEATH NOTE (i'm really glad you started watching this. this anime was an anime HAVE-TO and the best first ones to start off with)
-Sword Art Online (i totally thought this was going to be boring and judged this quite a bit, but then i watched it and really liked the story. great art and characters too!)
-Attack On Titan (a bit gory but this is another must. great storyline)

These animes will make you cry because an amazing thing about anime is that it can get so emotional at times and these ones will explode you:

-Clannad and Clannad After Story (you will bawl like a baby! so many feels to this anime)
-Angel Beats (this is really well written. really sad!)
-AnoHana (this is sooo heart warming and touching made me cry :"( waah! )
-Kimi Ni Todoke (didn't make me cry but this one is romance and really sweet and cute)
-Ouran High School Host Club (didnt make me cry but this one is A LOT of people's favourites, it's reallyyy popular and its a comedy/romance )

Then once you're past a couple of those you should start some big long animes with long and connecting story lines and it's just so great too :

-Naruto (a great anime i recommend to anyone)
-Bleach (love it! really actiony)
-One Piece (really popular and well known. pretty good)
