What do guys do at bachelor parties?

the tradition of bachelor parties comes from old england. traditionally what they used to do was the men would gather together at a local pub or gentlemen's club and drink and smoke cigars. the married men among them would offer the groom advice on marriage and they would share stories about how they managed things in their own lives. they would drink toasts to the bride everytime she was mentioned and also toast their own wives or lady loves. it was all very gentlemanly except that they would often become quite tipsy and return home the worse for wear drink wise. no females, no strippers, exotic dancers or girls popping out of cakes were part of the party. it was just a guy thing.

today, men who are not into drinking or strippers will normally do some guy things like having dinner together and taking in a game or a movie or show their ladies would not want to attend. or playing a round of golf or going to a batting cage or driving range. seeing who can hit furthest. etc. or perhaps going to the track or the auto races, or rock climbing or to vegas or some other gambling place. there are tons of things for guys to do at a bachelor party....just fit the event to the types of things your character enjoys doing that are what we call "guy things" or things most girls don't enjoy doing.

Do Mormon Men have bachelor parties?

Yes they do! My best friend (who's also a Mormon) got invited to one...there were no strippers, drinking or any silly things like that. They just had pizza, a few soft drinks and such and celebrated doing guy stuff like gaming, listening to music...just chilling and having a good time.

Never been the intention. It's a last hoot and holler with their friends before they begin a life with a reasonable curfew and a built-in date. Never actually been about having a last sex fling. For most people, that would never come into it at all. Even in the movies .. even in the outrageous movies, it's not usually the bride or groom who are having sex with other people. I've known two fellows who's "Best Man" planned out total sex bachelor parties that the groom got angry and hurt by because it was so the Best Man could have sex with hookers. The grooms weren't remotely interested in that. I know one groom who was so upset that he left the party and went home. It was a real signal to him that his buddies were single but, in his heart, he was wed.
