What To Do When You Have That

What do you do when you have a lot on your mind?

I answer questions and see how my problems are small

What do you do when you have a runny nose and you don't have any tissues with you?

I guess I'd use my handkerchief or bandana. I always have at least one in my purse...but then, I try to keep one of those little packets of tissues in my purse, too, and I put in a full one when I see that the current one is about to run out.

Most workplaces will have a box of tissues, too.

What does this have to do with gender studies?

What to do when you have 1 over a fraction?

Think of it as 1 divided by 5/6, then you got to multiply the reciprocal of the fraction which is now: 1 x 6/5 = 6/5

☺☻

What should you do when you have nothing?

Do not worry. First of all, think if people who do not have functional body parts, or have lost a parent, or have been disadvantaged in some way. This will make you feel good about yourself and your worries and pains will disappear.Secondly, do not beat yourself about social skills. Write if you must. Talk to people online. Meet people outside. You don't have to be recluse, but don't go out of your way. Always remember , classy people don't need other people around them. Read and study. Bury yourself in books. Join some sort of college or school and study what you like.Get an odd job that pays for bare minimum. Rent out a small room somewhere. Lots of people can live like that. Study during your free time. Defining point, keep yourself busy. Take charge of your own life. Live like an adult. Be independent. You will notice everything starts falling in place. People will start liking you if you are independent. You will have a lot more to talk about. Conversations are easy, don't have to be forced. They will come naturally. You can talk to your mom. Means you can TALK to anyone! Give it time.Again, reiterating, start working hard toward an education and earn money doing odd jobs. You can work at Tim hortons, a call Center, or anywhere. You will be fine. Just don't give yourself free time to think about your state of affairs and believe that things will get better. Realizing a problem is the first part of solving it, and you are there. Congrats. Hopefully in two years I will see your post saying how you turned your life around!!!

What do YOU do when you have a Wedgie in public?

What do you do when you have a sleepless night?

I'm being brutally honest here, so expect some embarrassing things. Its a starry night and I'm lying awake with nothing to do.Sleep is the last thing I can get, the first thing being the compulsion to start my nightly chores.I check my notifications and see 1082 messages unanswered. I feel mentally exhausted. To get some fresh air, I go outside and throw some stones(sometimes bricks) at Street dogs. Then there's a notification sound in my phone. Finally, a girl replied.“I'm only 14. Stop messaging me.”Okay so 1 down, 1081 to go.Then I set up a reminder to propose the girl after 4 years when she's 18.Still, I didn't feel sleepy. Then I run like a hobo around the house until I feel tired. My muscles start to become weary. I sit down after running for 15 long seconds. Finally, I return to my room and reach my backpack for a straw and sweet powdery crack. Finally I hallucinate all night about my perfect life with the Kardashians.

What do you do when you feel like you have nothing to do?

I'm a unique cat in that feeling bored is a very rare and strange state or feeling. I am continually on the grow, reading books, working on music, challenging myself physically. If boredom is something you struggle with, I would recommend becoming aware of why that is. Perhaps it's a state of mind being comfortable with where you're at in life therefore don't feel the desire to risk or challenge yourself. If you have something that you're in pursuit of, you will be engaged and excited within your day to day ventures. As a caution, some people mistakingly confuse boredom with loneliness. They are different states and not to be confused. Boredom is not feeling like you have something to do or somewhere to be. It also includes being stuck with repetition. Loneliness is feeling disconnected. Hope that helps!

As a single parent, what do you do when you have no one to turn to and no support system in place?

If you can afford it, get a good therapist. Then you'll have someone who's completely out of the picture who you can talk to and can give you honest unbiased feedback.Or find a meetup group. There is probably one in your area. Even if it's not a meetup group for single parents, find a group with your interests. If you like a certain movie or book franchise or genre, or a certain hobby, find that group and join up and interact and make some friends you can talk to. You may find other single parents also looking for someone to talk to.As far as supporting you as in help, don’t underestimate yourself. You are your own best friend. If you need help fixing something, hire someone if you can afford it. Look up DIY videos on the on the internet. Or ask a neighbor or coworker or this community. This is from experience. Always be fearless, even when you're afraid. You got this.
