What To Do While Waiting For Job Call That

I'm waiting for my newly applied job at Costco to call me back for orientation..When should I give my 2 weeks notice to my current job?

So I went through the whole interview/drug test process and Costco told me they will call me back for Orientation day..But I'm currently still at my current job and I don't wanna just give my 2 weeks in and not be so sure about getting the job at Costco..So my question is when should I give my current job my 2 weeks notice?

How long should I wait for this phone call new job??

What do you intend while you're waiting? May as well continue job hunting since.

As soon as you exit an interview, forget them. Continue submitting applications and interviewing until you're getting a paycheck.

There is nothing to wait for and no reason on Earth to, "follow-up."

I hate waiting after a job interview?

I had a job interview at KFC and today makes it three days. I have no patience and I need a job right now because I'm unemployed. I'm also applying to other places but it feels like I'm back to square one. I'm worried that I didn't get the job so they won't bother letting me know and there won't be another interview somewhere else anytime soon. I could tell the manager likes me during the interview. Did I get the job or not? Should I call or wait? How do I keep myself from going insane?

I applied for a job. What should I do now besides waiting?

What dua to read when waiting for a job application reply and interview?

Allaahumma laa sahla 'illaa maal ja'altahu sahlan wa 'Anta taj'alul-hazna 'ithaa shi'ta sahlan.

O Allah, there is no ease other than what You make easy. If You please You ease sorrow.

You can say it as many time as u want.
As for the interview day, say: rabbi adkhilni mudkhala sidqiw wa akhrijni mukhraja
sidqiw wa-j'al li mil ladunka sulta_nan nasira ( Say: "O my Lord! let my entry be by the Gate of
Truth and Honor and likewise my exit by the Gate of Truth and Honor; and
grant me from Thy Presence an authority to aid (me).") Quran, 17:80

Then say what Moses said: "Rabbi ‘shrah li sadri wa yassir li amri wa ‘hlul’ uqdatan min lisani yafqahu qaoli".
(O My Lord! Expand my breast for me. And ease my task for me; and loose a knot from my tongue, (That) they may understand my saying.) Quran, 20: 25-28.

How long after job interview until I get a call? (Retail)?

I had a group interview at Forever 21 yesterday. There was about 6 other people that were interviewed with me. They said that the store had several openings. My interview went well, the manager seemed to like me/all my answers. Half of us (including me) had Sales Associate experience while the others did not so I feel like my chance must be pretty high.

How long should it be until I hear back from them?
and how long should I wait before I call to ask about it?

How should I handle a job offer when I'm waiting to hear back from my dream job?

Hey, i understand your situtaion, Being a Recruiter, it happens most of the times. Lets call the sub par job company "I NEED". and lets call the dream company, "I WANT". I assume the "I WANT" is a big company and a brand, so it must be wanted by many. Many deserving candidates would have applied and they have a major pool of options and you are one of them. I also assume "I NEED" is not as big as "I WANT". but not that bad either. they liked your profile, they need you, they are about to offer you. Right now you dont have a job and you need one soon. Ok, so here is an example,You are walking in the market on a rainy day, and suddenly a car comes and splashes mud on your only shirt and ruins it, you took it off and threw it. you are shirtless now. you are in market and you can easily buy a shirt. so you go to a near by shop and ask for a shirt, they give you one, nice colour, nice fabric, you like it and they are ready to offer special discount as its the last piece. But you suddenly saw that big showroom of high end fashion designer store and that shirt on the advertisement that model is wearing. you always wanted that kind of shirt, so you went to that designer store and asked for that shirt. The store said, "wait for two - three weeks" the shirt is not in stock, as its in high demand. what will you do? You will wait for the shirt to come in the store, and remain shirtless till then or at that time you will buy the other shirt and cover yourself. you know the answer now right. Yes. Buy the other shirt which you need. and dont forget the other shirt you want , is there only, you can buy it some other time. So, my very practical advice, go for the "I NEED" company as you need a job , you deserve this one as of now, and they will value you as an employee as you have been selected. the "I WANT" company can wait. let them take their time. even if u wait that long, jobless and pennyless, how can you be so sure, you'll get it. tough competition right. So, just take whats coming your way.
