What do I do with an empty notebook?

An empty notebook is a blank slate, a fresh canvas, a pre-Big Bang universe. You’ve got the freedom to do anything. The following list is just the tip of the iceberg:Chronicle your life. Record the positives, the negatives, and everything in between.Chronicle someone else’s life. Likely a character created in your own mind, you can tell the story of someone else’s adventures.Create a parallel universe. Record what would happen if you chose to eat an apple instead of an orange. Let the butterfly effect take center stage.Make something foreign to our universe a reality. Magic, flying, teleportation, time travel, telekinesis, the whole shebang.Pen a movie or play. Hide a message in the plot. Captivate the audience. Make them laugh. Make them cry. Use the power of language to convey truth.Author an essay. Persuade, enlighten, inform. You decide. (Or better yet, do all three.)Extend your brain. Record your thoughts; let your consciousness spill out onto your notebook. The possibilities are endless. (And that’s not even an exaggeration.)Give your brain free reign of this soon-to-be ethereal notebook. You’ll be amazed at what you create.

What to do with an empty notebook, any ideas will do?

You can do SO many things with it!

In my notebook I write:
-songs/poems/quotes i like
-also my own poems/songs
-You can write what you feel when you are given a compliment or a piece of good advice
-a good dream
-maybe a nightmare
-your fears
-your ambitions
-nice memories
-what you wonder about
-thoughts on recent events
-what amazes/surprises/angers you
-small details that you notice/intrigues you
-lists of things you want to do (movies you want to see/books you want to read/places you want to visit)
-you can sketch/doodle/draw
-paste ticket stubs/favorite candy wrappers/pictures/magazine cut-outs, et c
-write inspiring passages and quotes from movies and books
-ideas you have that you want to try
-you can write your side on a public issue like abortion/gay marriage (those r just ideas)

"seed ideas" are incomplete thoughts that may develop into something greater like a poem... or a short story

Remember to date your pages, you may be surprised when you go back to read it time from now how much you've changed, or what values remain the same.

Good luck with it and HAVE FUN with it!

How to fill a blank notebook?

For writing a journal you can write in it at the end of everyday explaining what happened, or if your going through something difficult than write that down so it can help you sort through your feelings

For a book take the first few pages to jot down ideas. What story do you want to write? How do you want people to perceive your characters? Make lists of names you really like and come up with a personality to fit them. Then star writing random this and a thought many come to you. If you do that than youl probably end up having many short storys than one actual one. If you want to write one large story/book then organize your thought and make sure to add personal experiences so readers can relate.

You can also doodle in it and a bunch of other random things. If you go to school, pass the journal among your friends and tell them to write/draw anything they want. In the end when it's all filled up, you'll have a notebook of all your memories and randomness

Creative notebook ideas?

To add to the good ideas already given, consider pages about

What makes you laugh/favourite cartoons/jokes
What makes you sad
What scares you
What makes you feel strong
What's happening in the world right now
Best events/holidays of the year
Activities you like
Favourite movies/bands/actors/art
Books you like
Best place you have ever been
Happiest vacation
What your name means
Describe your room
Favourite walk/what you like in nature
What you like to cook/eat
People around you (family/friends/teachers/coaches)
Pets
Dream job/car/place to live
Nicknames and how you got them

Will my notebook get heavier the more I write in it?

From a purely physics and materials science standpoint, your notebook will get heavier because of the deposits of ink left by the writing (plus the detritus like skin and oil deposits from manual handling, etc). However, the mass (and therefore weight) of the deposits is so incredibly minuscule that only highly sensitive instruments can show it. Therefore, for practical purposes, the notebook doesn't get heavier.

What are some ideas to recycle notebooks?

I found a Blog where you can get your all questions answer about recycling. See here Blog - Ewaste Cleanup

What can I do with a new notebook?

Your notebook is symbolic of a new start in life -- why not use it to pursue your dream whatever that may be. Write it down, review it, list action steps, note progress. Include pictures of your progress.  Nobody can tell you what to do with YOUR notebook. If you need to solicit ideas: ask what that one thing is that you want from life and use the notebook to help you achieve it. Go watch Billy Crystal in City Slickers and pay close attention to what Jack Palance is saying.

I would like to write something in this empty notebook I have. Is there anything entertaining that you can think of?

Write a description of the room you are in. Try to make it as detailed as possible, but also interesting. When you finish that pick out an element of your description that is interesting and write about that. Then pick up a detail from that description and write about that. Repeat as long as you can.Don't start with a theme, but try to be aware of any that develop. Start with facts, but after a few cycles let your prose become looser, if you feel the need. And if you do it, please let us read it!
