What is the correct way of filling out a Chase money order?

The Chase Bank money order has certain guidelines that must be followed in order to achieve accuracy and prevent any further issues. You must write in the “pay to the order of” the name of the person to whom the money order is payable to.The section where it says “sender” is the section where you would write your name. The memo section is an optional section where you would write notes about the money order. Things you can write are “Rent for the month of April” or “payment of card balance”.Do not write any money amount in the Chase money order since that amount has already been typed for you on the money order.Separate the upper white part of the money order from the lower blue part of the money because the white paper is your copy to keep in the event that the money order get lost or that the money order needs to be reviewed for some reason. And the blue part of the money order is the actual payment that you are either going to send by the mail or hand it over to somebody.A Chase Bank cashier's check might be better option because the cashiers check contains all the information required already printed on it and you do not have to fill out anything plus cashiers checks are realised and cleared faster than money orders. As we can see in the sample above, the chase cashier's check already has the name of the entity whom the cashiers check is payable to and the amount to be paid is already printed as well. There is hand signature on the bottom because the bank representative must sign that section before the cashiers check is handed over to you. The only section left blank is the “memo” section because that is an optional section. The cashier's check looks good and it is ready to go. There is no room for error in this cashier's check.

How do i fill this USPS money order out?

USPS Money Orders are set up a little differently...they confused me too, at first. I started using them after one of my creditors acted irresponsibly with one of my personal checks.

1. On the "Pay To" line, print the recipient's full name.
2. Under that, fill in the recipient's address.
3. The "C.O.D. or Used For" line can be left blank, or you can use it to reference what the money order is paying for.
4. On the "From" line, print your name.
5. The "Clerk" box can be left blank.
6. Under your name, print your address. This is optional, but you may want to check with whoever you're giving the money order to (if it's a business, creditor, etc.), to see if they need it. Ultimately, the money order will still be valid without your address on it.
7. Do not sign on the back where it indicates "endorsement signature". That's for the recipient to sign so that they can cash the money order, just as with any normal check.
