What Universities Can I Transfer Too

University of Buffalo transfer?

I'm planning on transferring to the University of Buffalo, this fall. Right now I'm at CUNY and I have a 3.1 GPA. By the end of the semester I should have at least a 3.3 GPA with 38 credits. What are the chances of me getting in as an undeclared major?

Can I transfer universities during the summer?

You make your own opportunities.Pack your bags, get in your car and head over to the university that you desire to be in this Fall.Make certain that you have a complete package with you, (transcript from your current university), and an Excellent story. Then head straight over to the Dean of Admissions office.   Be polite, but indicate that you Really want to talk to the Dean or Associate Dean. Then you will have five minutes to make your case.    Face to face. Why you are unhappy at your current university (which you did not truly realize until late in the Spring after transfer applications were closed) and why you Truly want to attend this university.  There is Always room for one more.   Be willing to rent an apartment and live off campus. What is the worst that will happen (if you are Polite)? They will say No.  If they do, then Thank them and tell them to expect to see your official transfer application in the coming session. However, there is always the chance (if you Do Not need financial aid) that they can "squeeze you in".    Be prepared for the Dean to pick up the phone and call someone at your current college.   I would give that a 5% chance. But then again most elite colleges only accept 5% of the transfer applicants anyway..........   It will cost you time and money. And if you are truly professional, polite, and have an Excellent story you should at least make a good impression if not convince them to take a chance on you.You make your own opportunities. All the best.

How many times I can transfer university on f1 visa?

As many times as you want, or need to. Just be certain that you have an I-20 for each change, and make certain that you keep the all. You need a trail of I-20’s that cover you for the duration of your F-1 visa. Many international students start by learning English at an ESL school, then transition to a community college because they are cheaper, and then enter a 4 year college. They might also move, change majors, etc. No problem.

Overunit (transfer to university)

I know I should have at least 60 units when I tansfer
I had boosted my GPA a little too much, I might have 80-90 units when I transfer
my question is, will that be OK?
Can I transfer with such unit?
I know the GPA will count, but I can only transfer at most 64-70 units
but on UCB's website, "Each school or colleges sets its own maximum transfer units limitation: most programs will not offer admission to students who have accumulated more than 80 UC-transferable semester units before enrollment. Exceptional: If all course work was completed at a two-year college, this maximum unit policy does not apply."
my question is, can I transfer if I have a lot of units? I just want to make sure those university will accept me even though my units are approach 90. I'm afraid those school will consider I had taken too many classes to cover the bad grade I got before, they might think my GPA is kind of fake, because I had taken a lot of non-necessary courses. so I just want to make sure I can still be accepted even though I have 90 units.

I hate my university, is it too late to transfer?

Your best bet is to wait out this spring semester, take that math class that's required and spend the time raising your gpa. That way when you do apply to leave (start applying in the middle of spring semester/ or even earlier) it wont be a hassle and you have a greater chance at getting into where you want to go .

Also...
Maybe apply for a distance learning class (online) you can stay home and get credit. These courses tend to be easier and will be great for your GPA. And this would allow you to stay at home not go back to school and still get credit. When you are applying to the distance learning program do as a non degree seeking and don't withdraw from the school you hate just yet. This will allow for easier admission to the program as well as if you apply to your schools in spring and it falls through you wouldn't have completely withdrawn. The University of Colorado at Boulder has a great online program I did it from Florida and it was great for me wasnt to difficult.

What kind of university can I transfer to with a college 3.48 gpa, 27 ACT?

Hola! Your college GPA is good. You could probably get into GW, but NYU may be a stretch. The fact you did really well in high school will help. The quality of your current institution will also be taken into consideration. A 3.48 from UVA is stronger than the same from, lets say Virginia Tech.

You should apply to both schools as well as a safety. Have nyu be your reach, GW be your most likely, and then a safety school.

You may also want to consider Georgetown, but NYU will be harder to get into. Good luck!!!

Can I make a 2nd year transfer from Pune University to VIIT Pune by scoring above 9 CGPA in 1st year from SPPU?

Well, dear I really didn’t get your question, but i am assuming that you are asking if you can switch from non-autonomous (SPPU affiliated institutes) to autonomous institute. If that’s the question, then the answer is NO! You cannot transfer in this situation. But you can opt for intra-college transfer which are sppu affiliated, like for eg. sinhgad(vadgaon) to PICT. But again there’s hell lot of a competition and in most of the cases colleges prefer internally transferring the students like a student from mechanical branch can switch to computer science branch if there’s enough vacancy and also the student has a required cgpa and that too from a very same college.I can’t really comment on the procedure of getting transferred to different college, but i can sure tell that it’s going to be complicated and not worth wasting time .Better be happy in whatever institute you are in, surely environment do matter but your skills and knowledge triumphs at the end. So, score well in each semester and be socially active , build a good personality and voila…that’s what an engineering career should be like!Hope you get what you want. All the very best.Cheers !! :)

Can I transfer to any college/university with a 1.6 GPA?

No, I don't think you'll get in. You might get into a community college. If you can get into one of them, and try to boost your GPA there, you can try to transfer to Alabama or Ole Miss. But right now, your GPA is so low that you're probably about to be suspended from Rollins, and it's low enough that you may also have lost your eligibility for financial aid.
