Does John Oliver read from a tele-prompter or does he memorize what he says?
This has been driving me crazy. Before when I saw John Oliver on the Daily Show, I noticed that they had the script on blue paper sitting on the desk, but on his show "Last Week Tonight" he sits at a empty desk and delivers the show, from what looks like, memory. Part of me considered he uses a tele-prompter, but I'm still unsure because even though he delivers the show in his natural speaking voice (like he doesn't sound scripted), his eyes don't dart left to right like he's reading. So I really don't know. Does anyone know?
