What should I wear to my graduation ceremony?

I completely disagree -- wearing something great underneath your robe is important for several reasons:First of all, you might not have time to changebetween the ceremony and dinner with your extended family, your best friend's graduation rager, or your last night on the town with your best friends. You'll want to have something on that's cute and stylish so you can leave college with a bang.Secondly, I have one tip for you all that I wish someone had told me a year ago when I graduated -- wear a dress with pockets! Carrying a purse --even a cross-body bag -- will look really strange while marching down the procession with 500+ of your classmates. Leave your wallet and such in your car (or with your parents if possible) and only keep your keys, phone, and a camera with you.Also, it's important to wear something somewhat sleek. A graduation robe will add enough bulk on its own, so a really full skirt will look strange under it. If a skin-tight bandage dress just isn't your thing, look for relaxed-cute items that will be comfortable but not add any extra volume.Lastly, check the weather. Nothing will cramp your style quite like freezing (or burning up) while you're trying to listen to a graduation speech.Consider footwear.The only part of your outfit that people will be able to see is your shoes, so wear a cute, somewhat dressy pair, and be sure to paint your toenails, too! Sexy, sky-high stilettos might be a little inappropriate, but the occasion calls for something fancier than a pair of sandals. I would recommend a pair of wedges or 2-3 inch heels -- this way, you'll look great but still be able to walk the long distance they'll probably have you march. Be sure to break in your shoes and practice walking in them before the date arrives - the last thing you'd want to do is fall down or be uncomfortable during Commencement!

Is it okay to wear nice sandals to Graduation?
My HS graduation is in a couple of days and I was originally going to wear a pair of 5 inch wedges I bought but considering we will be walking on grass (it's going to be held on the football field) I'm honestly afraid I will probably fall wearing them. I'm now wanting to wear a pair of cute sandals instead so I know I won't fall over. Is that okay? Other girls wear nice sandals to graduation too right? Tips? Thanks
What should I wear to my brothers highschool graduation ceremony?
Graduation ceremonies are usually long. My schools are about 4 hours. And we're always sitting out in the sun the whole time. Ask your brother about the location and dress accordingly. Wear something nice, yet comfortable. You don't have to be fancy at all, just not sweats, and something cool if its outside. I'll be wearing a sundress to see my friends graduate in a few days.
What size heal should i wear to my 8th grade graduation?
Hi, okay so i found my perfect dress to wear for graduation and all i need now is a new pair of high heels to go with it. The only problem is i dont know what size to wear.. I know how to walk in high heels perfectly i've worn them in weddings, and dances all the time so its not like im gonna look like a fool tripping everywhere if i wear high ones.. Help with wearing heels at graduation ceremony!?
I will be graduating high school soon -Yay- :) . I go to an online school so i won't really know many people at the ceremony. I bought a really nice dress , it's a tight, white , laced dress that comes down to my knees but i don't know if i should wear heels and what kind to pair it with. I really want to because i am only 5'0 :( . I'm very insecure about my height. Heels will give me height which will make my figure in the dress a lot better and i will look more mature. I know there's going to be lots of walking and I'm scared i might have a hard time walking and take forever to walk lol . What kind of heels should i wear? Are 3 , 4 , or 5 inches alright? Ankle strap? Any way i can make them more comfortable to walk in and through GRASS , for the rest of the day as well D; Help please, i need some fashion help. Thank you so much :)

The will move it either indoors or out based on the weather. Dress Business casual it's not a formal event. Nothing to revealing or flashy. You will need to be able to walk a ways between where you park and where you sit so wear shoes that are comfortable.
