What Would Be A Good Job For My Interest

How to decline a job offer after showing interest?

Long story short, I applied to a doggy daycare and was very excited about it and was happy when I got an interview. I went in for the interview today and was sort of turned off about the place. It was just very run down and I don't like the way the handle the animals (they threw the dogs in very small cages and carriers, some way too small for some of the dogs, for long period of time)
The people were nice and they seemed very impressed with me, but after having the tour of the place and seeing how run down it really was I'm not so sure if I want to be in an environment like that.
How would I decline their offer (if they give me one) after I showed my interest in the position?
Thanks!:)

How do I write a letter of interest for a job?

I think different employers call it different things but it really should be just a simple cover letter (otherwise known as letter of intent, coverletter, or a letter of interest) I am sending you the format that I give to my college students...

What do you think would be a good career field for my interests?

What do you think would be a good career field for my interests?

I wanted to be:

Historian - Realized the only history I liked was World War II and Holocaust
Graphic Arts - Wasn't good at it at all, didn't care for it.
Drafting - Found it boring
Computer Programmer - Not as easy as it seems

I have always wanted to be a teacher, but at times I don't want to be. I'm really good at English and Foreign languages.

I'm kinda interested in Psychology, but at the same time I don't really care for it.

I like to dissect stuff (not in a bad way), I find it interesting, not gross like most people.

Stuff i'm intrested in:

-Writing
-Computers
-Biology
-Psychology
-Sociology
-Foreign languages
-Business
-Marketing
-Foreign Science
-Health Science
-Broadcast Journalism
-Criminal Justice
-Theatre
-Music
-Making/Editing Videos

Is "FBI Special Agent" a good job?

Here's an interesting article where it said that 270,000 people applied for 3,000 F.B.I. jobs

http://articles.cnn.com/2009-03-17/us/fb...

It's dated from March of 2009 and on a normal year the F.B.I. is said to get about 70,000 applications a year, with starting pay about $35,000.

Yes, it is a good job, even though I am not in law enforcement. The discouraging thing to me would be the large applicant pool. One thing that would come to my mind if I had your background and wanted to be a Special Agent, would be to go into private security, as a back drop, while applying for the F.B.I.

How do I choose my interest as my career when my interest keeps changing often?

You are trapped in a cultural expectation that you must be good at one thing and pursue that one thing to achieve happiness, wealth, and fulfillment. It is not true for all people; indeed no one thing is true for all people all the time and this belief is no different.I can make an argument that for some people persistence, diligence and passion about one thing is both a reflection of who they are and their limitations. Complex areas of life can reward a lifetime of focus. But we are not all wired that way, and being good at one thing only does not lend itself to synthesizing material across disciplines in interesting and useful ways. So, to answer your actual question, choose whatever career you want to start and know that you can change careers as you move forward. However, for the first career you choose, or first field of study, you will be best served by picking what I call a foundation field. If, for instance, you are good a math, pursue it hard as either an undergraduate or even graduate career. As a well-trained numerate individual, there are hundreds if not thousands of job types and careers available to you. Similarly, the much derided English major, if it teaches you to read closely and to write clearly and with authority, makes you a well-trained literate individual — and those people, let me tell you, are in short supply in this ever more visually-oriented world. There are other fields as well that fall into the foundation category. The heart of the matter is that if you can be good to great at one thing, and when you move on, you will have the ability to be good to great at another. Don’t fret that you aren’t like what someone says you are supposed to be like; revel in who you are and you multiple interests.

Which career matches my interest?

There are many jobs or work that will suit your skills and interests. Research of most kinds needs a mind that can read and understand information and analyse it. Business Analysts are new and emerging jobs that need understanding what customer wants and translating the same for the product developers. You can certainly work on Marketing (that includes market Research), product development, customer engagement and support and research that demands analysis of information. Hard to give a complete list but you may have a wide range of jobs where you would be able to contribute meaningfully.

How can I get a good job related to the field of computer engineering along with my interest in photography?

Dear Ayush,Its not easy to get along with two entirely different things. Aspiring for a decent job completely different from our interest is a common thing. However, you must yourself decide how much importance you need to give to both, your interest and your career. It should not be the extremes of two, completely indulging in your interest nor should be losing it, you have to make both ends meet. Being your friend, I would suggest that you should be little more focused on your job, keeping your interest of photography at bay for time's sake. Once you have a decent job, then it won't matter much to what extent you are pursuing you interest. All the best for the decision and never give up your interest for anything.
