What Would Be An Example Of An Emotional Appeal For Human Trafficking

Putting scare tactics aside, what would be the real effect of letting in the terrified, starving people at our southern border?

Just look around you. For the last several decades we’ve been letting in the ‘terrified, starving’ people at our southern border. Now, in addition to the millions that came in legally, we’ve got 22–30 million living here illegally, costing us well over $100 billion annually. (And this is net of any economic benefits we receive from them.)Does this sounds high? Let me do a little math to show you how quickly things add up. Every year illegal aliens have 300,00–400,000 kids in the US. This costs us (or more correctly our Medicaid programs) about $9–12 billion annually. Then these kids go to school. That’s another $45–60 billion annually. So that’s $54–72 billion ANNUALLY and it doesn’t even include school lunches, help with housing, food stamps, etc. Nor does it include the cost of educating kids who weren’t born here. It also doesn’t include the cost of incarcerating illegals (who are 300–500% more likely to commit crimes than US citizens), etc.In short, if you like losing billions of tax dollars and inflicting widespread social problems on your fellow Americans, one of the best ways to do so is to let in the ‘terrified, starving’ people at our southern border. One quick postscript for the naysayers: if we need unskilled and low skilled workers we can always do what Canada does - bring in pre-vetted workers from developing countries while leaving their nonworking spouses and kids at home.

What do you think of animal sex trafficking?

Can someone respond to my question, other than saying it's "disgusting period," like the poster below? That's exactly the kind of knee-jerk, unthinking reaction that disqualifies someone from a rational conversation about the moral and social implications of the practice. Saying it's gross because it's gross doesn't advance the conversation in any way.

I hate MOST men, I think they're evil and disgusting?

Im with you on this. I sincerely think men are the bane of the human existence (generally). But I don't know how much of this is due to the biological nature of those who identify as male or the nurturing they receive from society because of their maleness.

Look at EVERY social dysfunction globally. What is at the root of it? MALE EGO.

War- usually over land and resources, religion, or simply because a North Korean leader wants to make up for having the genitals of a 3 year old.

Violence- when was the last time a woman held a man down and beat him, raped him and left him for dead? Exactly. IF such a thing ever happened...it was because some man REALLY screwed with that womans head when she was a child.

Pedophilia- yep. It happens amongst women, but not at the rate with which men engage in this horrendous act. And of those that do, again, usually a man is to blame (typically, the female pedophiles father)

Now, granted, I think there IS hope for men. I personally know numerous AMAZING men. My husband included. However...there are biological animistic tendencies that men culturally have not always been forced to check. The chauvinism, violence and downright disrespect for women in many countries in Asia, South America, the Middle East, Africa and even in all classes across the "free" worlds prove this. Many cultures reward violence and aggression in men, unfortunately.

Of those men who aren't selfish egomaniacs who wouldn't cheat on their wives, rape a woman or child, beat another human for the fun of it, emotionally, verbally, mentally or otherwise abuse/oppress another human being when the opportunity presents itself...you typically see a higher IQ along with a higher sense of morality and humanity (which is more often than not groomed by parents or mentors rather than acquired through personal dedication). Where you see a decent man, you typically see a decent father, and/or a really amazing/strong mother.
