What Would Be The Best Second Language To Learn As An Air Hostess. After English

What is the best language after English to learn to become a flight attendant?

It depends on the base of the airline that you want to work for. For example, if you were applying for an airline where their safety video is in French, learn French as that would be the most desirable second language. If the airline is based in Tokyo, learn Japanese or another Asian language. If the airline is based in the UK but operates frequent flights to Europe, learn a popular European language like Spanish.In the end, there are definitely certain languages that airlines would prefer but I think any other language would definitely give you a better chance at landing the job.

Which other language is best for an air hostess other than English?

This depends where you went to travel/work and where you are legal to work from! Mandarin is in high demand for flight attendants, as is Italian. The positions for US airlines to travel overseas are competitive so make sure your fluency is excellent. Good luck!

Which foreign language is better to learn for an air hostess these days?

It’s not necessary to know foreign language for a domestic airlines. However, for international airlines depends from state to state. E.g.1) Emirates, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Singapore Airlines does not required any foreign language. (Indian passport holder)2) Lufthansa, British Airways & Swiss Air has India ( Either Delhi or Mumbai) base. They prefer fluency in Hindi, English & Punjabi. (Indian passport holder)If you know any foreign language like French, Spanish, Germanic, Mandarin, Polish etc that will always be a plus point for you.All the best

What is the best second language to learn to become a flight attendant?

This of course completely depends on where you want to find a job or where you like to fly to. Some airlines assign language speakers to certain destinations.In the Americas probably Spanish is the best second language. There would already be a lot of flight attendants who speak that so if that bothers you then Brazilian Portuguese may be the way to go.In Asia, Chinese may be great, especially since that's an emerging market where more and more tourists, who speak only their own language, start to travel. Flights to Japan have to have a Japanese flight attendant on board so normally that's taken care of but you may find, like many flight attendants, that you like to operate on Japan flights. I haven't seen many flight attendants love Middle East flights to death but if that culture interests you, possibly Arabic is a boon. Russian will help you if you fancy that culture and there are some destinations of your airline there.Africa would beg for French as second language, since most passengers from countries that were once colonies of France or Belgium will speak that.For Oceania Chinese is probably the best second language.I would first figure out the airline's policy on language speakers being assigned certain routes and what destinations there are for language speakers. There's no point in learning Russian if you don't want to fly there a lot.If you want to apply for a job in another country, then knowing their language will almost certainly put you ahead of the other applicants, all other things being equal.And that would be my advice for Europe, with its many countries and languages. And a tip to finish off: I've never met anyone who dislikes Italy.

Learning "unimportant" languages useless?

well Penelope's right. but there in lies a problem. you can learn any language of course but if you dont use it you'll forget all you've learned right away. so if you are not into constantly communicating with people who speak the language or visiting the country where the language is spoken then all your effort in learning the language will turn out to be just another time consuming activity. several years ago i used to do my best in learning italian. but didnt have any chance to use it ever since, for even italians themselves prefer speaking english with foreigners. now i'm just glad i understan what italian singers sing about in their songs and i forgot most of what i had learned. do i regret spending several years in italian classes and in my room filled with italian books? well, no way. i guess every little thing you learn moves you forward. so learn the hell you want and go coconut picking and whatever. life is not about the reasons. so don't look for any reason to excuse your passion.

What is the Meaning of Kugutsuuta Ura mite Chiru in English Language?

Kugutsu means 'puppet' or 'dummy'. Uta means 'song'. Ura mite means 'look behind' and chiru means 'to fall' or 'scatter (esp. blossoms or fall leaves)' . Like alot of Japanese songs it isn't a sentence with a straight forward meaning. Japanese people would probably debate just what the song writer meant as well. Rather it is a collection of words designed to put an image in your mind. It means something to the effect of;

'Look behind the puppet song and fall (be scattered),'

but it sounds like the writer has a deeper intended meaning as well.

What are the languages required to become an international air hostess?

That’s strictly depends on the airline.So let’s say you were planning to work in Europe and working in an EU country, English would be compulsory and other languages such as French or German or Spanish would be useful and give you an edge on your CV.If you were planning to work in North America, English would definitely be necessary. French would help, and so would Spanish, but I don’t believe that it would be that important, but I may be wrong.If you were planning to work in Asia. Well, the best language to have is probably Chinese or Hindi. As these languages are widely spoken in China and India, which account for more than a quarter of the world’s population. English would help definitely, as most businesspeople in Asia use English as their main language.As for the Arab countries, Arabic for sure, maybe English, but I am not so sure.To summarise, to work as an international flight attendant, what languages you need depend on where you are based, however wherever you are based, English is definitely the most important.Hope this Helps!

What is an ideal language to learn alongside French?

Ok, I studied, german french and spanish at college and let me tell you, Spanish was so much easier, as words are similar, they have similar grammer rules, which makes it easier to learn, however if you're looking for quite a challenge, and something completely different then go for german, believe me its a challenge, 16 ways of saying the, different grammer rules and the accent is very harsh (but when you get it, its so rewarding!)
