What Would U Do If A Client Ryan In The Office Where U Work As A Secretary Would Act This Way

There is a girl staying in Dakar Senegal and she wants me to help her transfer her father's money. She is the next kin of her father. Is it a scam?

Let me guess, a 21 or 22 year old girl who was a first year student, wants your help to transfer 9.7 million dollars that belonged to her late father out of the country, and can't because she is a refugee.  And weirdly she keeps adding in facts that either enforce the image that she is vulnerable (21 year old orphaned girl, alone in a refugee camp, in a country rife with political instability); or encourage you to trust her (hard-working student, father a rich man, probably with the title of Doctor); or try to push the religion angle by talking about a church camp, or mentioning God a lot.You have a few options here.1. Transfer the money to her.  And then wait a week until she contacts you again asking for more money to sort out some difficulty in getting travel documents.  And then wait a bit longer until she contacts you again needing more money to help her out because of another difficulty.  And repeat ad infinitum until you either run out of money, or decide that actually in fact this is a scam, and that you'll never see the money, and that she'll (if it is even a "she") continue to come up with excuses to get money out of you.2.  Transfer the money to her or provide your bank account details.  Wait a few days until someone uses your details to transfer all the money out of your account.3.  Ignore the message because it is a scam.Only one of the above options does not involve you loosing your money. This kind of 419 scam (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nig... ) has been dubbed the "Senegal refugee scam" or the "Senegal Sweetheart scam" , as it always appears to be from a young female from Senegal.  It originates from West African scammers, and the scammer behind it is almost certainly not a 21 year old, and probably not female either.Want to find out more? here's a listing of similar scams http://www.419scam.org/419-penpa...And here's the results of one individual baiting this scam: http://forum.419eater.com/forum/...

Can you sue the US president?

Yes.  See Paula Jones v. William Jefferson Clinton. But you will not be able to sue the President personally for his official acts while in office.  He has immunity to all such suits.  Jones was suing Clinton for sexual harassment he allegedly committed before he became president.Given how massively disruptive the Jones lawsuit proved to the Clinton administration, it is also quite likely that the court would stay your lawsuit until after the President left office. You can also sue the President in his official capacity if you're claiming that one of his acts was unconstitutional and damaged you, although standing can be very tough to obtain in such lawsuits.  Generally in a case like that you're looking for an injunction to order the President not to do something.  But more often the proper defendant is the cabinet secretary the president is ordering to act; as in the Youngstown Sheet & Tube v. Sawyer case, where the steel company sued the Secretary of Commerce instead of President Truman, even though everybody knew it was Truman's order that was really at stake.

Hurricane Catarina?

it's called Cyclone Catarina. Cyclone Catarina was an extremely rare South Atlantic tropical cyclone. Catarina hit southeastern Brazil in late March of 2004, and though not the first southern Atlantic tropical cyclone, it was the first positively identified hurricane-strength system in the basin.

Formation: Catarina developed off a cold-core stationary upper-level trough became established offshore southern Brazil on March 12, 2004.

Whether Catarina was a result of global warming is still debatable. There have been claims of global warming, but none has been solidly proved, as yet. Typically, tropical cyclones do not form in the South Atlantic Ocean, due to strong upper level shear, cool water temperatures, and the lack of a convergence zone of convection. Occasionally though, as seen in 1991 and early 2004, conditions can become slightly more favorable.

Formation of another storm in the same region with similar intensity is extremely rare, because at the time, it was the 'strongest ever'. However, there have been other similar but less intense South Atlantic storms like the Angola tropical cyclone of 1991 and another cyclone in the same area in Brazil in mid/late January of 2004.

Is there any advice for someone entering into a sales position (particularly insurance sales)?

I'm different than most people when it comes to sales. I sold insurance for many years. And if was you I would stay away from life insurance sales. Commercial insurance is the best way to go. Most business need it and home owner have to have it. And the law says that you must have it in order to drive. Plus you can legally get the department of transportation insurance list of transportation companies whos polices are about to expire. So you will have a list of leads to call for free quotes every month. Trust me you will make money. They sale is easy you save the customer a few bucks and that sales its self. Vs the life or health were you have to convince a family strapped for cash to spend on what I call “ income protection” never use the word insurance. Never make them feel guilty. If you do they might buy right then and there but they will cancel and you will be back charged…. Trust me brother been there done that. Good luck

What date in the fall of 1960 was Richard Nixon in Bridgeport, CT?

I spent an hour trying to find this for you, but with no luck. I found out that Lincoln visited Bridgeport in 1860, and in 2006 President Bush commemorated a plaque at the spot Lincoln gave a speech. But I could find no mention of Richard Nixon's visit at all. Sorry.
