Whats A Good Food Pun You Could Say To Your Significant Other

Does anyone know any good puns for relationships?!?

I don't remember any right off the bat, but it's easy to make them up.
"Significant brother" - the romantic interest of a girl in [a nearby backward state where incest is too common.]
In Atlanta that would be Alabama.
It could also be used when the boyfriend is black.

Typical usage: "He's her significant brother. (Snicker, Snicker.)"

Well, maybe it's a good pun, or maybe it isn't. It's certainly bigoted, in either example, and mocking bigots is considered an acceptable form of recreation.

Another way to say "play a significant role?

Im writing a paper on neurological implications of BPD and starting to tire out. I'm sick of saying that the hippocampus plays a significant role in BPD and cant think of another way to phrase it.

Any suggestions?

What's the best gift you've received from a significant other?

He wasnt a partner, but a boyfriend.Let me preface by saying that my passion is gardening .It was in 1986 in Denton county, Texas. Ground was being cleared for the new lake, Ray Roberts. Cemeteries were moved. Homes were either relocated or torn down. The landscaping was left alone.Around these old homesteads, a wealth of plants were left behind. Iris, lilies, daffodils, flowering shrubs.I had just bought my first home and was on a tight budget, so I couldn't just go to a nursery and buy everything I wanted. On Sunday we would load up some shovels and go searching for plants in what would soon be underwater. We did this for about 3 months. Then the company he worked for transferred him out of state. We cared deeply for each other, but both of us had different plans for our lives. One day, right before he left, he showed up with the most romantic gift I've ever received. It was a shiny new, short green shovel. He'd tied a bow around it. He explained this was big enough to get the job done, yet small enough to keep in my car all the time.He called it my “ lady shovel".

What does it mean to "put your foot in it"?

I was talking to someone and they said "put your foot in it", in a reference to African American Southern cooking. I live in North Carolina and a black man from Mississippi tried to explain it to me, but it seems like one of those things you know but can't explain very well - so I was wondering if anyone knew how to explain it to me and maybe give me detail about it's origin? I'm originally from Massachusetts so this term is completely new to me!

What do you say when your BF calls you a snack?

Some very clever answers, here. What’s the context and how is the relationship otherwise? I’m not sure I would want to be called a “snack,” and it wouldn’t occur to me to call someone else one. I like to think of a SO as someone who feeds both my soul and my lust, which as Sone suggested is the whole meal (or package) or whatever.

What is a good way to test what dog food my new dog prefers?

I feed a medium priced Grain free food, I will have to disagree with some answers. Most of the dog foods that have been around forever are not fit to be feed to a dog or anything in mind. Read labels, if it says chicken by products, that means it has no actual chicken in it, it could be feather, toe nails, anything other than chicken meat, corn is another product I don’t care for my dog to eat, dogs are carnivorous, not vegetarians, so why would you feed them corn? Most people can’t digest corn properly, you can see that when you go to the restroom!! Grain free labels will read the first ingredient will be Chicken or beef or even Buffalo, it will not say anything about by products which do have protein, It doesn’t have the quality of real chicken, there is no comparison the feathers vs real chicken. A dog would starve or die if you fed it corn and nothing else, have you ever seen a dog standing in a corn field eating corn on it’s on , well of course not. They don’t eat it in real life.Real dog food is made from real ingredients and that's what I prefer my dogs to eat, but that's just what I prefer. Dogs can live off of dog food that is made with the old stand by ingredients, but they will never look like they are thriving, their will be dull, they will have stomach and poetically have Pancreas issues, because they are not eating what I consider real food like a human would eat. Humans eat differently as well, some people will potted meat while others will not touch it, simply because a lot of us read the label and do not want to eat such things. Reading labels will educate you on the ingredients in every food, the first item listed is what it has most of in it, then 2nd and 3rd, all down the line.I had rather spend a little more and feed better food, but that's my opinion and that's the way I eat as well. I want to stay healthier as long as I can and I want that for my pets as well.

How do you say delicious in Italian?

What is surprising is that although Italians have ways to express their appreciation for a good meal, it doesn't usually get summed up in one word. This is because you're expected to say more WHY you think the food is delicious, then just the fact that it is. Maybe because it is so easy to say one word and leave it at that (and Italians love to talk), or, more likely, it's because it is easy to say one word and lie.The word that most equals the English one , "delicious", is "squisito" (exquisite). The word "delizioso" exists, but for frequency it is far less common. The "trouble" with both these words is that, unlike the English, they can be used for other things besides food.I think a good word, if your Italian is minimal (excuse the pun), is just to use "ottimo", which means "the best". It conveys a sense of comparison with all the other meals you've had, although you could use it for two courses in the same meal! Which would be very likely when you eat almost anywhere in Italy!

What is the healthiest dog food to give to my rat terrier?

***Vets will try to tell you to feed Purina, Iams, and Science Diet. But don't feed them, they aren't good for your dog. Vets tell you those lies because they are PAID to do so!!!! It's sad, isn't it?***

Here is a website that rates dog food. Go to it and enter the food of your choice. You will want a 4, 5, or 6 star rating. If the food of your choice has a 1, 2, or 3 rating that means it is crappy food. The higher rating the better, the lower rating the worse.

Also, another great thing to feed is the raw diet. Raw is completely safe and healthy. It's what I feed to my dog. Here are two great links about raw feeding, the healthiest thing for your dog.

Is eating with left hand a sin in Islam?

All human actions are classified in five categories in Islam:1.Halal (lawful/allowed)2.Haram (unlawful/forbidden3. Mustahab (highly recommended)4 Makruh (abominable)5. Mubah (of no importance: do what you want) eating with your left is makruh. The reason being is that the left hand is used for cleaning oneself in the lavatory. So although we wash our hands and they are both clean, it is recommended to use the right hand to eat.EDIT: now that you have given a long description to explain your situation, let me add something to my reply. One of the obligations of people is to practise what is called "amr-bil- ma'ruf and nahi 'anilmunkar" (enjoining good and forbidding wrong/evil"). However this has to be practised with wisdom and certainly not in a way that may hurt/humiliate/embarrass a person in public. There are certain etiquettes/protocols/behaviour standards that one needs to respect when living in a society. If you are in a community that sees eating with left as ill-mannered and you are sharing food with them and you insist you want to eat with your left (because it is your freedom!) you cannot expect them to look on you favourably. Just like you would not blow your nose into your napking then put it on the table when you are with guests/ or you are the host (insisting: "what's wrong with it, it is MY napkin and freedom!"),in the same way you need to be respectful and sensitive of the code of behavior of a community.
