Whats A Liquid Food. Nurse Walk In The Room And Find Baby Not Breathing What Should I Do And Not

Can you get sick from breathing a sick person's fart?

I think this is a brilliant question - the answer is almost always ‘No’. A few years a go a Christmas BMJ article from Australia (predictably) demonstrated that a single layer of clothing was sufficient to prevent faecal bacteria being expelled onto a microbial culture plate (you can read it here https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc... in case you think I just make this S*** up!).So, unless the fart is inhaled from close range (likely 5cm or less) and from a naked anus, there is likely to be zero microbial aerosolisation and hence no chance of becoming infected. Even if you were to inhale a fart under those conditions it is very likely that the microbial load would be low, and your immune system would rapidly clear it before infection took hold - but frankly it would be an unpleasant experience even without getting sick.

How long can a cat survive without food and water before dying?

Cats can last a short while without food and can potentially survive for weeks without eating. Water is far more necessary to their health and physical well-being however, and a cat that goes more than a few days without anything to drink might not survive. If you're worried that a cat hasn't been eating or drinking, and it's not showing any signs of being starved or dehydrated, then try offering it a can of tuna water - don't buy the tuna in oil - and see if you can encourage them to drink that way. Not only the water will hydrate them, it'll also contain some much-needed nutrients from the fish. Otherwise, you should take the animal to a vet. The consequences of inadequate food and water can be dire. Why? A cat who hasn't eaten for a while is considered to be starving, and starvation may have a damning physical effect on the cat's entire system. The same is true of dehydration, only the onset of dehydration is much quicker - and far more severe - than that of starvation. Every organ in the feline body relies on water and the nutritional content of food to properly function. Every single one. Starved and dehydrated organs will steal energy and water from the rest of the cat's body, a process that slows as the cat's bloodstream becomes less liquid itself. When feline organs lack sufficient food and fluids to function on the most basic level, they dry up and begin to shut down. Not only could this send the body into shock, it might cause irreversible damage to the cat's organs. If a starving and/or dehydrated cat does not receive swift treatment, it may face permanent health issues - if it survives at all. These are uncomfortable thoughts. They're scary. But it's important to state them as blankly as possible because you never want to take chances with a cat's intake of food and water.

Is there anything else I should do before I get my gerbils?

Gerbils will not die without a wheel! They will be fine without one, but gerbils do need exercise and you will find gerbils very much enjoy running on a wheel. The wheel you get is important. Do not buy a wire wheel as they can get their feet caught or tails caught and can break them off while running. A solid plastic "noiseless" wheel will hold up well for a while (not the flimsy plastic ones!).

As for your question, as long as they have food, water, some things to chew and absolutely NO plastic anything in their cage, you should be set.

Do make sure they are left alone for at least a day to de-stress. Once they become acclimated to their surroundings, you can start with letting them get to know you with your hand laying in their cage.

Otherwise, if the cage is set up and you have the right bedding and items, you're all set to get your two little ones! (Just make sure it's only two and they are the same sex of course). =)

New Born Baby Rabbits, Please Help!!!!!?

DONT listen to the other answer! you can do this. do you have a bigger cage? if it doesnt smell like any othe rabbits she will still look after her babies in another cage. or make a pen inside that she cant escape and put her cage in it leaving it open so she can come in and out. Since it is her first litter there is a good chance that some may die, but then again they may not. i currently have 5 9 day old babies and this is the mothers first time, so it all depends on the mother. you'll need to check on them around twice a day to make sure they are alive. just get some of the fur and rub it over your hands and also make sure your hands arent cold. if infortunately one does pass, bury it somewhere in your garden. make sure they are nowhere where they will get cold and there is no draughts. Try keep away all other animals such as dogs cats etc as the mother can get stressed.
rabbits dont eat their kits if you touch them. they do this if they feel they are under serious threat or they dont think they can put their own survival before their kits. ive only ever had one babyeaten my the mother. she always needs water and give her lots of green food. her pellet mix needs to be doubled in amount as she is producing milk for 6 others.

at around 10 days they will start opening their eyes. around 2 weeks they will start travelling around the cage and may try too eat solids, maybe a little older. oh also make sure you check that none have ventured from the nest as they will get cold and die of hypofermia, if you get there just in time you may be able to breathe on them and warm them up.
Good luck and enjoy the experience!!!

regarding the answer underneath me, yes you may not see her paying attention but dont worry if you see her feed them more than once a day. they wont die and as they get older they need more food anyway. mine are 10 days now and just opened their eyes:)

ANOTHER thing with the answer underneath me, they are born with teeth! thats no difference and the mothers poo shouldnt be like that all the time after shes had babies only sometimes a little bit before she does. and its NOT for the babies to eat. rabbits have a double digestive system so they can eat certain poos, i forgot what they are called but yeh they look only a little different from normal. they babies will eat them when they are older same as every rabbit does

Would someone who is in a coma be put in a private room in hospital?

I'm doing research for a fictional story. What is the procedure for when someone who has been in a coma wakes up? Would that person be put in a hospital, or a hospice, or what? What machines would the person be hooked up to? Who are the first people he/she would see upon waking up out of the coma? Would that person be put in a private room in the hospital, or a normal ward, or what? How likely is it that someone in a coma will wake up? Is it dangerous for them to wake up? How long would it be till they could see their family? How long would it be till they can leave the hospital? Would they need to take any medication afterwords? Basically, I need to know everything you can tell me about what waking up from a coma is like. Note: this is a serious question. I expect to get serious answers from people who know what they are talking about. If you're arsing around, I'll know. I'm sorry to have to say that, but you know what people on the internet are like. I hope it doesn't offend you.

Does Advil raise your blood pressure?

I've been taking Advil 2-3 times a day as part of the after-care regimen for a root canal I had done on Monday (as directed by the endodontist).

I was in the regular dentist office yesterday to begin the restoration work on a different tooth, and the dentist wouldn't do the procedure because my blood pressure was too high for novacaine. I'm trying to think through what could cause my blood pressure to be higher than normal, and the only thing I can think of is the Advil.

Do anyone know if taking advil raises your blood pressure?
