Whats Good To Stop Diarriah And Stomachache And Occasional Vomit. Help

Diarrhea, headache, stomach ache and gas, fever 98.8?

Today I went to the doctor. For the past 3 weeks I had stomach problem. First stomach cramps then gas then after I ate I had to run to the restroom after i ate because of diarrhea. I then developed a not so high fever (98.8)
The doctor did a urine test, blood work and gave me antibiotics. I'm wondering if the diarrhea is also cause because of my menstrual cycle that's due in 1 week. The pain can be because I was ovulating. They didnt listen so well.
What is your opinion?

If I have a headache, stomach ache, body aches, diarreah, fever, and feel like vomiting what am i sick with?

Sure sounds like classic symptoms of the flu. It's kind of a weird time of year for it but not unheard of. I would go see your doctor and drink TONS of water so you don't get dehydrated. Take tylenol to help with your body aches.
I hope you feel better!

Very bad stomach ache and diarrhea! Help date tonight!!!?

My best advice to you is to get to the nearest ER asap and thoroughly explain ALL your symptoms so they can do any needed testing. Since it's been lasting this long, I wouldn't jeopardize my health for the cause of date night. I'm sure your date will understand if you have to "take a rain-check".

Vomiting, diarrhea, and nausea. NO stomach ache. Help!!?

I keep vomiting, but my stomach doesn't hurt, what do i have?
i woke up at 2am because i wasn't feeling well.i thought it was mayb because i had my period. I had no stomach pains, it was more like discomfort, which is why i thought it was my period. (it wasn't period cramps either cause i hardly ever get cramps) so i went to the bathroom and had diarrhea and vomited. Then 1 hr later, i vomited again. Then my mom gave me some medicine and like 30 mins later, i throw up again!! so i went back to bed but kept tossing and turning cause i felt so sick. I just felt really nauseous. I woke up at 9am and drank some medicine and went back to bed because i felt sick and nauseous everytime i stand up. so i would fall asleep for 1 hr, then wake up. and everytime i got up to go to the bathroom or something, i just wanted to throw up!! (which i did at 11am) i've been eating saltine crackers and water all day. I now feel better, however, everytime i stand up, i feel like throwing up. so i go and sit by the toilet but nothing comes out since my stomach is probably empty.

what is this?? NO stomach ache, but all i wanna do is throw up!!!
is it food poisoning or a virus??

Is it normal to get a stomach ache after food poisoning?

Yes. Food poisoning occurs when food or water contaminated with harmful germs (microbes), toxins or chemicals is eaten or drunk. It usually causes diarrhoea, with or without being sick (vomiting). However, eating contaminated food or drinking contaminated water can also result in other symptoms. In most cases, symptoms clear away over several days but sometimes it takes longer. The main risk is lack of body fluid (dehydration). The main treatment is to have lots to drink to try to avoid dehydration. Sometimes antibiotic medicines or other treatments may be needed. For most cases of food poisoning, symptoms tend to come on within one to three days of eating the contaminated food. However, for some types of food poisoning, this 'incubation period' can be as long as 90 days. The main symptom is diarrhoea, often with being sick (vomiting) as well. Diarrhoea is defined as 'loose or watery stools (faeces), usually at least three times in 24 hours'. Blood or mucus can appear in the stools with some infections. Crampy pains in your tummy (abdomen) are common. Pains may ease for a while each time you pass some diarrhoea. A high temperature (fever), headache and aching limbs sometimes occur. If vomiting occurs, it often lasts only a day or so but sometimes longer. Diarrhoea often continues after the vomiting stops and commonly lasts for several days or more. Slightly loose stools may persist for a week or so further before a normal pattern returns. Sometimes the symptoms last longer. Diarrhoea and vomiting may cause dehydration. Consult a doctor quickly if you suspect you are becoming dehydrated. Mild dehydration is common and is usually easily reversed by drinking lots of fluids. Severe dehydration can be fatal unless quickly treated because the organs of your body need a certain amount of fluid to function.

Severe vomiting, diarrhea, headache, aching limbs, chills, & cold sweats, no fever, no sore throat. Swine Flu?

Contrary to what two people said, there's no such thing as stomach flu. Flu is a respiratory infection, not a gastric or intestinal one. The incubation period for swine flu is 2-4 days and it lasts from 7-10. Technically, you cannot be diagnosed based on symptoms alone. A specific blood test is required to confirm a diagnosis. Fever is a key symptom that distinguishes all flus from some other conditions.

Rather than having had swine flu or any type of flu, it sounds more like you and your son may have suffered from gastroenteritis, which can last anywhere from 1 to 10 days, depending on the virus or bacteria involved. Although the incubation period is generally 1-3 days, this can vary from one person to another and it's not unheard of for one person to fall ill and another to succumb one week later. I expect his lingering cough may something to do with throat irritation from the vomiting.

My baby is teething. does that cause diarrhea and vomiting?

If your baby is drooling, she could have looser bowel movements, but *not* diarrhea. Diarrhea would be more frequent bowel movements with a foul odor.

Teething wouldn't cause vomiting, but shoving her hand into her mouth certainly could!!
