Your grade would be 80% You get it by dividing what you get form what it's out of. And then multiply by 100 to get the percentage. So...4 divided by 5 times 100 = 80 :]

This would be a D as far as a letter grade. As for whether it's passing or not, that depends. In some ways it is and in some ways it isn't. In Texas, if you want to play sports, it does not count as passing. But if you're talking about graduating from school, it usually does count as passing, oddly enough. So you may have to ask at your particular school for whether that counts as passing. When I worked in an admissions office of a college, we did not count D or F grades as passing. But that may not have been the policy at all colleges. And you may not be talking about college. And as far as sucking at life goes, most people are good at some things and not so good at others. If my father hadn't tutored me every step of the way through most of my math courses, I wouldn't have gotten through first grade. But he did so I did. He kept on tutoring me all the way to high school. So if this is the best you could do, consider a tutor. It can't hurt! Some of us need a little help from time to time. But you won't be a student your whole life. After school, you may be the best in the world at something else. Who knows?!

It's a D most likely, it depends on your grading system. There are some systems where below 70% is an 'F'. You have to ask! Don't be afraid, you need to know so you can be clear on what you have to do to pass. My question is why do you do horrible- do you get really nervous during a test and blank out? Do you study but seem to study the wrong material? Do you try to study every thing and then synthesize it wrong? I'd suggest taking a study skills class or buying a book. I used 'the Master Student' by David Ellis to get me through college, and then taught the course while I was in graduate school. Several of my students told me what a help it was to have the class. It even helped me through my doctoral level neuropsychology class, which was the toughest of my educational career!

We can only guess. It's probably an F in most classes, but your teacher is the only one who can really tell you what that is equivalent to. It looks like you know maybe 1/2 the material that has been covered. Do YOU think that's enough to pass?

Whats a good science fair project for my 5grade daughter?
I know it sounds stupid but do which color is the hottest. It is easy and does not require that many materials. Juts buy a box with dividers, which should be in your local Home Depot or Lowes. Paint each box within the box a different color. Drill holes in the side for temperature measurements. Let it sit for a night and then your ready to go in the morning. Let it sit out in the sun for an hour or two. (Use stirofome to clog holes and keep heat in when not measuring temp) Also use the stirofome around the base of the thermometer so no heat escapes. Measure the temperature two times in the peak of the hotness of the day. Record measurements and do all the other science experiment stuff. P.S.You could probably do this with what color is the coldest too considering it is coming close to december.
