Whats The Benefits Of Going To College For This

Benefits of NOT going to college...?

although college graduates do tend to make more money than those without degrees, college is not a necessity. there are plenty of jobs out there that do not require a college degree. there is absolutely nothing wrong with not going to college if you don't feel its right for you; there are so many people out there that are convinced that EVERYONE has to go to college, and that's just silly; its not meant for everyone, and not every job requires it. However, if you do want to earn decent money without going to college, you may at least want to go to a technical school like Ranken or ITT Tech so you can learn skills for consistently needed jobs like auto mechanics, computer stuff, etc.

in the long run, although you will probably earn less than college graduates, you will save so much money not having to pay off student loans for 20 years like everybody else. and if you are happy with a job that does not require a degree, then you should be happy with your choice

What are the benefits of going to college?

How about an extra $20K in salary at age 25 compared to someone with out a degree? How about the ability to get a job that you enjoy? How about the satisfaction gained fro learning? How about the increased liklihood that you will marry a college graduate -- meaning a better life for your kids (because of the increased income -- but for other reasons as well).

Plus -- if you go away to school, you learn to be self reliant.

Are there any benefits of going to college out of the United States?

There are many very good universities in the US, and many students get a very good education at US universities. However, there are also some advantages of applying to and attending universities outside the US.One issue is that it increases the number of universities that a student can consider. There are many very good universities in Canada, Europe, Australia, and elsewhere as well.Admissions is generally much more predictable at universities outside the US. For students with a very high GPA and very high test scores, university admission at many schools outside the US can become almost a non-issue.In some cases universities outside the US can be significantly less expensive compared to private and out-of-state public universities in the US.Attending university outside the US can give a student a broader view of the world compared to staying within the US. It can also give a student a broader view of the US, since it will make it possible to get different view of the US compared to what a person gets while living in the US.

What are the benefits of going to college out-of-state as opposed to in-state?

The only benefit I can think of is if you have helicopter parents that want to hover over you throughout your college years. Putting some distance between you and your family will allow you to experience some independence. The out of state college will be more expensive in tuition.

What are some benefits of going to a community college?
