What are the best sites to shop online in Canada?

There are a lot of sites for online shopping in Canada. I am loyal customer of Qwintry who has had over 50 parcels shipped via Qwintry so far.Despite my living in the Far East of Russia, my recent parcel arrived within 12 days what is amazing. If any item gets damaged or harmed during delivery, Qwintry meets half way with a customer and refunds such losses.Besides, if your outgoing parcel has a bit of overweight, within 1-3 lb, you may ask the support service to adjust the weight to 40 lb and the mail forwarder meets customer's needs in this respect. I do highly recommend Qwintry to anybody. You can easily use Qwintry for forwarding mail from the US to Canada.

I would like to wear the hijab to become more modest, but I'm not Muslim. What will people think?

You don’t have to be a Muslim to wear hijab, you just have to be a female. It’s not that you have to use burka or scurf you can do it with anything you can do as long as you fulfill the condition“And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, their brothers' sons, their sisters' sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.” (Quran 24:31)“O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful” (Quran 33:59)

Arabic Kerchief: How many types are in use in the Arab world and what is the diffrence between the black-red?

The reason I want to know is because I have been to Jordan and most of the people where the red one and not the black. So why is that? And is there a diffrence between the Jordanian and the Palestinian Kerchief?

Why do people find the hijab (cover) so offensive?

The man who spit at you was a hateful fool. I certainly won't make excuses for what he did. Had I been there, I probably would have decked him. For myself, the first thing I think of when I see the hijab is the repression of women, something that existed for far too long here in the U.S. and against which many, many women (and men) have had to struggle to overcome (and still do). I have no problem with any woman wearing the hijab who chooses to do so. Free will is good, and I strongly believe in religious freedom. But it saddens me to think that women have to endure being covered up because a certain religion apparently feels that men cannot control their lustful urges. As a man, I know that is not true. Men do not have to act like brutes just because a woman's body is not covered with cloth.

Short answer: it represents repression for women, something we've worked hard to overcome in this country. But that's a mental impression. It certainly doesn't mean that I would spit at a woman who wears one. That makes no sense to me at all.

What are the pros and cons of wearing a hijab?

Pros:I get an extra 20 minutes of sleep every morning! I happen to have very curly hair, and it takes at least twenty minutes to get it to look even remotely presentable. So the fact that I don't necessarily have to comb my hair every morning gives me some extra precious much-needed sleep ^_^Also, the fact that I don't have to show my hair in public means that I don't have to spend money on expensive hair treatments and accessories. This saves me some cash to buy things that I actually want, like pizza and airtime =]I feel protected. I usually wear my hijab such that it covers my chest, that way I don't have any pervs gawking at anything they shouldn't be gawking at. I get to privatise my sexuality.Hijabs are pretty! You can get them in a myriad of colours, materials, shapes and sizes. Not to mention you can style them in a million different ways. I love it.Last but not the least, I believe it plays a role in strengthening the relationship I have with my Creator. And even if this was the only advantage of the hijab amongst a thousand disadvantages, I would have chosen to wear it in a heartbeat.Cons:The wind becomes your enemy.2. There were times when I’ve had to change an entire outfit because I could not find a hijab to go with it. Oh the joys. . .3. The responsibility. Whether I like it or not, wearing the hijab automatically makes me a representative, a diplomat for every single Muslim on the face of this planet. To illustrate, say, for example, I go to a store and shoplift. If I'm not wearing my hijab, I'll be the girl who shoplifted. However, if I do happen to be wearing it, I'll be the Muslim who shoplifted. It’s tough.4. The questions. Specifically speaking, the ones that make you want to run to the mountains and become a hermit and pray for the asker’s senses for the rest of your life.

How is a woman with a hijab living in Tel Aviv perceived by the society?

First of all, a guide to all the different coversAbout 90–95% of the time it is the Hijab that you will see around Tel Aviv. Maybe another 4% for the Chador, 0.5% for the Niqab and almost never will you see the Burqa unless it is in Jafo or a much more Arab neighborhood.I was out the other night walking along the beach in Tel Aviv with my wife there were a lot of Arab young Arab men and women out. Often times a lot of the Arab villages in the north will take trips down to Tel Aviv for the evening and there is an increased number of young Arabs out and around and I think this was one of the nights.Even when it isn’t, Tel Aviv has a lot of Arab women in Hijabs walking around. Most of the time, even when it is a Chador, there is a lot of designer looks and fashion specifically for these head and body covers that are done with a lot of colors and styles. And to answer the question, there is nothing anyone does that differentiates them or separates them from the general Tel Aviv population. If they choose not to go to a bar, that’s their own prerogative. However, I never see any Arab women with head covers having any difficulty taking off their shoes and going down to the beach or hesitating to go to the various shops and events in Tel Aviv, they work in the same jobs if they want to and if they want to be associated into the culture of Tel Aviv, they are accepted as anyone else would be.As a lot of the other people here have said, it’s not even something I think about or something that stands out to me when I’m walking around.
