Whats The Game With Best Graphic Atm

What video game has the best graphics?

(Warning : Long Answer Ahead)I have played a lot of video games whether it be on PC, XBOX or Playstation. Each and every game is awesome in itself. It just depends on a gamer’s taste which one he likes. Ranking these games is quite difficult. So, here is my list of games which have amused me irrespective of their release date and in no particular order :Grand Theft Auto V(with or without mods)Assassin’s Creed IV Black FlagAssassin’s Creed Unity(After patching up the game:p)The Interiors were lit afAssassin’s Creed OriginsUncharted 4 : A Thief’s EndHorizon Zero Dawn(They had me at the mechanical T-Rex)Watch Dogs 2Witcher 3 : Wild Hunt(Love for Yennefer….. :p)Crysis 3Batman Arkham KnightForza Horizon 4Just Cause 3(…DESTROY…DESTROY…DESTROY… )P.S. - Sorry for the long answer. I may have missed many other games. Sorry for that also. Hope you liked it. Please upvote. Here’s the continuation:Sayan Chatterjee's answer to What video game has impressed you with its graphics?Edit : Wow….I never expected to get so many upvotes. Thanks fellow Quorans.

What game engine has the best graphics of them all?

Game engines have very little to do with whether or not you achieve photo-realism. While there are definitely settings and rendering features that can offer a path of least resistance towards that style, it won’t mean much unless you build assets that take advantage of those features. Textures and materials are what make a game look photo-realistic, with a bit of a boost from the game’s lighting engine.Case in point, here’s Unreal 4:And, here’s Unreal 4:And, here’s Unreal 4:The only thing these each have in common is PBR, or Physically Based Rendering. It’s a lighting and rendering model devised in order to condense the workflow necessary for capturing… not necessarily “realistic,” but “believable” surface properties more quickly, condensing much of the workflow for a material down to a few inputs for roughness, metallic, subsurface scattering, and other common surface properties. What inspired Epic to adopt this lighting model?Hold onto your hat for this one.Are you holding it? It better have mouse ears on it, because it was Disney.Specifically, Epic’s PBR model is derived from a presentation given at SIGGRAPH on the PBR model used in Disney’s Wreck-It-Ralph.Yep. The animated movie by Disney about video games is responsible for core innovations in video game graphics and rendering. Every single game created in UE4, and likely its competitor engines, owes something to Ralph.I’d say that makes him a hero. But that’s aside the point. As I think you can see, this is an extremely versatile model of lighting that can create a range of styles. This bears some emphasis: The engine itself won’t magically turn crappy assets into good assets.Case in point, that’s also Unreal 4. Work-in-progress shots seldom look as sexy as the showcase renders. To get to that level, you have to approach the art direction and technical art for your game very deliberately, no matter what style it is you’re trying to capture, in order to capture it correctly and develop a game that won’t peeter in at less than 30 FPS.To that end, Unreal, Unity, CryEngine, and most modern game engines to date all have the tools necessary to achieve good-looking visuals. But chances are that it’s actually the Substance suite that’s going to make the difference for you much more so than anything in-engine.

Websites like this one are great for estimating the relative speed of the cards. Just scroll down to the $250 range and pick the fastest one your computer can handle:

If you want more exact speed measurements you'll have to look up actual benchmarks for the specific card, and the specific game. Youtube has tons of them.

Just make sure it fits in your case, and your PSU has the plugs and the power needed to run it:

Good graphics card for gaming?

Okay so I'm doing my first gaming rid soon, especially since my desktop is getting really old and having issues.
I'm still deciding on the graphics card. Currently I'm thinking about this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130655

But it's pretty pricy. I mean I want to be able to run everything on max while recording, and I need it to be powerful for video editing, but is that gpu overkill?
If it is, what card would you suggest?

Thanks!
