Whats The Pi Symbol In The Sky At Night Whats The Name Of The Constellation

What is another name for the constellation Aquarius and where did it originate from?

Aquarius or Aquarii, like many other constelations, was named by the Greeks and then the Romans. The Greek named the constelation that way because, to them, it resembled the figure of a man, and when considering fainter humanly visible stars, it resembles the image of a man with a bucket from which is pouring a stream.
The myth of aquarius is related to Ganymede, a young woman that in Greek legends caused Zeus to fall in love with her, and ended up being carried by him to Olympus to be the cupbearer of the Gods.

The name Aquarius passed to the romans as Aquarii, and then to the rest of civilization....

Is the andromeda constellation part of pegasus...?

Andromeda shares a star with Pegasus, and has done for many centuries.
The star Alpheratz in one corner of the Great Square of Pegasus is also included in the constellation Andromeda.

The two constellations have been joined in folklore for well over 2000 years. On the next link is a poem about the rescue of Andromeda by Perseus, when she was chained to a rock for a sea monster to devour. Pegasus the winged horse carried Perseus to the rescue, and Andromeda was saved.
Her mother was Cassiopeia.
Andromeda and Pegasus the winged horse are inseparable in the Heavens now, joined by a shared star.

The Great Square of Pegasus is sometimes called the Autumn Dipper, though the Big Dipper which is part of Ursa Major, is also visible at the same time.
The Big Dipper never sets, but the Autumn Dipper rises in early autumn in the evenings and is high in the sky half way through the night.
As the night progresses, Pegasus starts getting lower toward the west as the Big Dipper gets higher toward the east.

I need a definiton and/or example of a CONCRETE POEM...?

I am doing a poetry portfolio for English 12 and I cannot find anything on Concrete Poems. If you know of any sites or any thing you personally know about a concrete poem, please let me know. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. ~Nikki

What is the best thing about someone born under the cancer sign?

Positive Traits: kind, loving, emotional, intuitive, imaginative, shrewd, cautious, protective and sympathetic.

Negative Traits: changeable, moody, over-emotional, touchy, untidy, clinging, unable to "let go," and a tendency to wallow in self-pity.

Likes: hobbies, romance, children, parties, home and country.

Dislikes: failure, opposition, aggravating situations, being told what to do and being given advice...whether good or bad.

Natives of Cancer are probably most in tune with those governed by Pisces, since Pisces is prone to moods just like Cancer, but of a less volatile nature. This is a couple who will find peace and harmony throughout the majority of their relationship.

Scorpio, another Sign ruled by the element of Water, would also be favorable since Scorpio is equal to the moods of Cancer and capable of great understanding. Cancer finds the Scorpio depth of character intriguing and will certainly appreciate the rich view of life inherent in the Scorpio nature, to say nothing of the awareness and perception associated with that Sign. This is a couple who will likely provide everything either has ever wanted in a relationship. The physical chemistry here is quite amazing...it is long-lasting and only gets better with the passage of time.

What is the best way to memorize the location of stars or constellations?

Some ways I can think of:Practice connecting dots:- There are several dot-to-dot connecting workbooks in the market for stars and constellations. First start by joing the dots and making the constellations. Afterall... before knowing the location of constellations... know the constellations first. You can even download them from internet... like this one...Know the history behind the naming of the stars and constellations:- Know the history and mythology behind the naming of the stars and constellations. For example, Cassiopeia was the beautiful queen of Cepheus, the King of Ethiopia. It will make your learning easy.Keep a star chart :- Be it manual kr electronic! There are even apps for Android like StarChart .See and see! Always watch the various stars and constellations when you are free. Seeing it over and over again... brings the subject in your grip. Moreover, you can even draw the constellations at exactly the same positions they are in the sky on the walls of your room.... though only die-hard fans of astronomy will agree to do it!Hope it helps :)

Hidden spider on the dollar bill?

It "means" the same thing that looking at a cloud and seeing a cow or a map of the State of Minnesota or the face of your Great Aunt Hildegard means: our brains are wired up to see patterns. We're not very good at just accepting random blobs of light, shade and colour for what they are; we need to impose some sort of order on the world. Often that's useful -- as in spotting a leopard lurking in the undergrowth. Sometimes it's helpful for remembering things -- as in the figures ancient peoples imposed on the night sky which linked a random pattern of stars into constellations. But sometimes it means we see things and assign meanings where there's nothing more than just random stuff, so we wake up in the middle of the night, open our eyes, see in the gloom a vaguely human shape by the door and scare ourselves silly before realising it's just our clothes hanging on the back of the door.

When I look at that picture of the dollar bill you link to and examine the background pattern, what I see is a little "knot" caused by the geometric pattern of lines behind the figure one being cut off by the frame around the numeral "1". You see a spider. Another poster sees a polar bear. I just found a wacko website which maintains it's an owl and has some sort of occult, demonic associations.

The fact that so many things can be "seen" in the same little blob of fuzzy white lines on a dark background should suggest to you that there is nothing at all really there, and people are only placing on it whatever interpretation works for them due to their background, experience and view of how the world works.
