Whats Your All Defensive Teams For 2015

What defense position in football gets the most sack and who's faster line backer or defensive end?

Typically it is the DE, occasionally you get phenomenal athletes who are extremely talented at timing blitzes and finding holes in the O-line such as Matthews, Cushing, Merriman. Always outside LB's though never ILB's. People always refer back to Lawrence Taylor as the greatest LB of all-timewhich I completely disagree with. My vote will always be for Ray Lewis. LT can be called the greatest sack artest of all time but not LB. But if you know anything about football you know that Bill Belichick, (the d-cor of the g-men when LT roamed the field) runs a 3-4 that the Sam backer plays as a Rover who usually plays DE in a stand up position. Therefore while the typical idiot thinks LT got most of his sacks playing OLB he really got them as a Rover playing DE which supports my statement that DE's are typically the sack leader.

LB's are 100% faster. There will be instances where a DE is faster then a MLB for example if a dwight freeney raced an aging Ray Lewis. If Dwight raced Ray straight out of the U Ray Ray would win. Otherwise a OLB will beat a DE in a race 10 out of 10 time and twice on Sunday.

What makes a NBA team great?

Defense, chemistry/camaraderie/friendship, and top players who buy into the system.    Before the 2015 Finals, the 2000-01 Lakers were the only team that won a championship while being ranked outside the top 10 defensive teams in the regular season.  The Spurs, who won 5 championships since the 1997-1998 season and are historically known for their defense, were ranked at least the 4th best in defensive efficiency during those seasons, and were ranked first twice.  Also their top players, Tim Duncan (arguably the best power forward of all-time), Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili were clearly good friends that meshed well and bought into Gregg Popovich's system.  They all took pay cuts to play together and continue their legacy.     The 2004 Pistons, who really didn't have any superstars (just a great overall team), are considered to be one of the greatest defensive teams of all time by many.  They had a five game streak during the playoffs in which they held their opponent to under 70 points, which is remarkable.  Their starting five of Chauncey Billups, Richard Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince, Rasheed Wallace, and Ben Wallace gelled well - everyone was focused on overall team success over individual stats and accolades.  Defensive Player of the Year, Ben Wallace, averaged 9.5 points and 12.4 rebounds during the season, not eye-popping stats or those of a superstar.  His job was defense, and that's what he got done well.  The 2008 Boston Celtics were the #1 defensive rated team during the season.  They also had the hall-of-fame trio friends of Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Ray Allen.    The 2015 Champions Golden State Warriors were also the #1 defensive rated team during the season.  Their off-the-court friendship during the season was widely publicized and known.  They also had/have MVP Stephen Curry, one of the best shooters of all time and jokester on the team.  In all of the above cases, the teams won championships and were/are considered great.  They were all top ranked defensively, had top players that bought into the team's system of play, and great chemistry/friendships.  This can be found in all championship and great teams.  Sources: Basketball knowledgeSpurs and Heat help prove that defense wins championships Basketball-Reference.com

What are assignments and deployments like for Air Defense Artillery ?

I'm former Air Defense Artillery, and I say former for a good reason. Back when I joined in the year 2000, and up until around 2005, the only CONUS (stateside) place Soldiers and Officers that were affiliated with PATRIOT Missile Systems could be stationed was at Fort Bliss, TX. As for OCONUS (overseas), you could be assigned to South Korea and Germany. I did a year in South Korea and loved it. But after my return from Korea I wasn't impressed with Fort Bliss and the surrounding El Paso community, so I got out of the MOS and went into the intelligence community. And let me tell you, the MOS isn't as cool as you may have heard. I've since heard that they've expanded PATRIOT to other locations such as Fort Lewis, Fort Bragg, and a few more (but i don't have all the specifics).

However, if you are affiliated with Stingers (SHORAD), you can go to any major duty station in the Army (Bliss, Bragg, Hood, Lewis, Campbell, Polk, Irwin, Drum, etc, plus germany, korea, and Alaska) and you might actually enjoy it. just remember that the only Stingers ever fired in combat were by Afghani Mujahideen fighters that were engaging Soviet Helicopters back in the 1980s. the US has yet to test it in combat because an enemy force has never given us an opportunity.

But understand that with the on-going war on terror, Air Defense soldiers are not doing their jobs when deployed, and are typically thrown in infantry like rolls because there truly isn't a current Air Defense threat in Iraq or Afghanistan. i mean how embarresing is that?

Oh, and one more thing. When I was a 14E PATRIOT Missile Operator, I had the rare rare opportunity of being able to actually fire a live missile in training (not simulated). you see, because PATRIOT missiles cost approximately a million dollars a pop, the Army only fires a few every year because it's so expensive. so whenever we do field training or battle drills, we do all the training involved in firing a missile, but we don't actually do the launch.

anyways, I was actually able to press the button that fired the missile at White Sands Missile Range, but the thrill just wasn't that great. i mean it was cool hearing the missile take off from its canister, but then that was it, the adrenaline was gone. actually, i don't even think there was adrenaline involved.

Why go ADA when there's so many other opportunities out there?

Why is Lebron so overrated?

Because ESPN, and Nike marketed him as 'the chosen one'.

LeBron is one of those cases where he had the potential, but never actually delivered on it, quite similar to Wilt Chamberlain.

I hit my ex-girlfriend but was it self defense?

Valentines day 2015 I broke up with my girlfriend of 4 years. Right now we're going through a transition from a couple to roommates because we live together. despite what lead to the break up, it was on somewhat mutual terms and now it's like we're bffs...until last night. Basically she thinks I'm seeing a new woman now but im not. I'm simply back in school. Becauss she jumped to this conclusion without talking to me, she was super mad at me over nothing for days and is treating unfairly. So last night I was like "we gotta talk about this right now so u can understand what's going on." She wasn't willing to talk at all saying I can do what I want. So I try to get her attention but she eithers on her phone while I'm talking or she turns her back to me and raps herself in my blanket. Eventually I got angry with her crap so I took everything she was using from her to get her attention. She mainly asked for her phone and told if she just talk to me for her sake she can do whatever. We went back and forth because she was like I just wanna go to sleep now but you won't let me. So then she tackles me for her phone and because she still can't get to it she starts attacking me. We do this for a few until she starts kicking me in the groin and choking me. So that but I felt the need to defend myself so I slapped her. She immediately stopped and ran crying to the bathroom. I feel like scum cause we let emotions run too high and I feel like I should've let it be. advice?

What changes must the Colts make in order to be a true contender again?

Before I suggest a solution to the Colts' woes, let's first see what the numbers indicate the chief problem may be.Here are the Indianapolis Colts' defensive team rankings for the 2015 season:7th - Team total defense at 379.1 yards allowed per game8th - Team rushing defense at 122.0 yards per game9th - Team passing defense at 257.1 yards per gameThese numbers are solid, so I would look elsewhere for a more pressing problem. However, in a perfect world, the Colts would take steps to become even more effective on defense, too. Here are the Indianapolis Colts' offensive team rankings for the 2015 season:17th - Team sacks allowed at 37 total22nd - Team passing offense at 231.5 yards per game28th - Team total offense at 321.4 yards per game29th - Team rushing offense at 89.9 yards per game31st - Team QB hits allowed at 118 total (more than 7 hits per game!)While the offensive line was at the middle of the pack in terms of the number of sacks allowed, Colts quarterbacks took the 2nd most hits in the National Football League. That stat is nothing short of unforgivable when you have a franchise quarterback in Andrew Luck getting pounded. The rushing and total offense numbers are anemic as well. So, while I would not necessarily take away resources from defense or special teams, the biggest weakness going into the 2016 regular season appears to be the blockers and/or blocking schemes. The top priorities, then, should be:Taking a hard look at the offensive line personnelExamining how well the attacking style of the offense matches the strengths of the personnel, including the so-called skilled position players as wellAddressing any potential mismatches in fit between the offense and personnel -- either change the players or change the plays you expect them to runNow, were there hints of chemistry issues in 2015? Would the addition of a big-time playmaker on offense or special teams help? Would it be great if the roster stays more or less healthy for the duration of 2016? Of course, the answer to all of those questions is 'yes.'However, if I had one magic bullet response to this question, it would be to address the problem of blocking the other teams' defenses.
