What is your favorite PS1 game?

Final fantasy 7, When I was a kid my uncles had owned PlayStation ones. One day I was given a box full of video games, and a PlayStation system. Up till then I had only played a few gameboy games, nothing major. But one of the first games I was able to play was Final fantasy 7, of course I never was experienced in games so I truly enjoyed the 3D rendering, but mostly loved the music that played in the beginning, where it shows mako reactors a follow of aerith, and the start off a train that changed the way I played games. The controls were simple, the story was easy to follow as much I was young to understand it's true moral. But the combat system was engaging and the ability to take contol of certain teammates was awesome. And when I had almost at the beginnings of some boss fights lost, the movie like climatic music had told me it was game over. But I reloaded the last save point and knew I had to always think of a new strategy to beating certain enemies. Won't spoil the story, but it is rewarding to beat the game, especially since it was such a marvel to me and my first console game play. Also there were some odd enemies… You fought a “house” a flippen house that shot rockets. Haven't seen such crazy enemies since then.

What is your favorite Playstation game?

Right now I'm (re)playing Dragon Quest VIII. I also like the first two Shadow Hearts games. If I'm feeling a little old school, I'll pop in Legend of Dragoon. Can you tell I like RPG's?

What was your favorite game on the Playstation 1?

WWF Smackdown! 2: Know Your Role is still one of the best wrestling games I’ve ever played on any console. In fact, I loved the game so much that even years after retiring my PS1, I kept playing it on a PC, using emulators. The create a wrestler mode in this game is still a marvel to look at. Any and every real life wrestler could be made, and quite accurately. The game included hidden movelists for a number of wrestlers, and they could be created easily, too.It had an awesome roster with people who rarely appeared in later games, e.g. Viscera, Gangrel, Al Snow, the whole Radicalz squad (Malenko, Saturn, Eddie and Benoit), Cactus Jack, Funaki, Taka and many others. This is also (probably) the last game where you could pit male wrestlers against female wrestlers without making it a mixed gender tag team match. The season mode was long, exciting and it also had a lot of fun things to do. There were cut scenes, random encounters and many other things that makes modern day wrestling games like WWE2k19 fun.Oh wait, it also had tables and ladders match, weapons under the apron, table finishers, backstage brawls (in multiple areas) and Hardcore matches.I’d still pay money to play it, simply for the roster.

What was your favorite video game from each console you own/owned?

PS: Spyro Year of the DragonThis was one of the first games I’ve ever played, and I loved it. Honestly, I’m more excited for the Spyro HD remaster than any other upcoming game right now.PS2: Sly 2: Band of ThievesI still do an occasional runthrough of this game. I pretty much had this game down like a choreographed dance as a kid.Wii: Super Mario GalaxyBefore the Switch, Galaxy was my favorite Nintendo game of all time. It was the first game I got for the Wii other than Wii Sports and it was really where I fell in love with Mario games.PS3: Modern Warfare 2I struggled to choose between this and The Last of Us, but the part of my life where I played Modern Warfare 2 was really an era. I pumped too many hours into the multiplayer and I still think the campaign is one of the best FPS campaigns out there.PS4: OverwatchI started playing when the open beta came out and I fell in love with it. This is the first time I’ve ever stuck with a game this long and remained passionate about (I’ve put more hours into Modern Warfare 2, but I had more free time back then).Wii-U: Super Mario MakerHonestly, I kind of regret getting the Wii-U. The game selection was just so thin and there was nothing spectacular about the hardware. This was one of the few games I actually ended up getting and enjoying. I chose this one specifically because it’s the only one I ever go back to occasionally.PC: Rainbow Six: SiegeA friend of mine picked it up, enjoyed it and convinced the rest of us to get it. This is the first time my full friend group ever played a game together and stuck with it this long. Alongside Overwatch, Siege is the game I play most today.Switch: Super Mario OdysseyI mean, how could you not love this game?
