Why do people say "good things happen to good people" when it is clearly not true?
To claim that its "not true" you would have to know ALL. There is a story that comes to mind. There was a farmer who was poor and had one horse. The horse died. The villagers came to him and said "So bad that the one and only horse you had died" He just said "What's good what's bad, who knows?"The farmer's uncle died and left the farmer 20 horses. On hearing this the villagers came and congratulated him on his good fortune. Once again he replied "Whats good, what's bad, who knows?"Because of the workload his young son of 18 years had to help out. He fell off a horse and broke his leg. Once again the villagers came to offer support on his bad fortune. The same answer was given "Whats good, what's bad, who knows?"Within a week of this incident war was declared. His son was not enlisted because of his broken leg.
If god was real why are there so much bad things happening and why can't he stop them?
What is bad for you has no meaning for Him. He has His scheme of things.
Why does god let bad things happen?
God allows bad things to happen because if He were to stop bad things to happen He would be sidding with the one who is causing all the bad things to happen. Example: If you knew your brother was stealing 5 dollars from your parents each week and you kept putting back 5 dollars of your money, that be sidding with your brother,protecting him from punishment. God tells us in His word that Satan is the cause of all our problems because he rules this world. If God steps in before bad things happen we would think we don't need a better ruler.
Why do good things happen to bad people?
Maybe I should have asked why are people rewarded for bad behavior? I see people who are unfaithful, who abuse others emotionally--they go on to be prosperous and happy so it seems. Maybe they are pretending, I don't know. The people who have been wronged learn to forgive and spend so much time to repair the damage emotionally, but the person acting badly shows no empathy. They have even more popularity and attention from others. Some who know that they act bad are afraid to stand up to them so the person never learns what they do is wrong.

If he protects his children than I must be the adopted one and i don't count also I know im not sinless since we are all born into sin but do I deserve this if you think you know what im talking about answer me why do I deserve this

Great question. Definitely going for "interesting" things. The word itself means that I would take interest in the event–be engaged in it. If we go with "good things" it could mean that they are already defined as "good" by whatever expectations we've already established. They'll be enjoyable, but already anticipated.Things are interesting when there are unknowns, and unknowns mean experience, and adventure. Possibly heart-ache and disappointments, but definitely stories to tell.Thanks for the thought.

picture it like this. you are from God. you are OF god. you have been placed in a world that is NOT of God. the result is, if you make every effort to live for God in this world, you WILL be rejected by the world, naturally. the more you witness about God, the more you will be persecuted and put through hard times. taking "good people" in the context of "God-fearing" people, the "test of fire" you experience is a natural thing. whatever suffering you experience in this world...will help you to grow in appreciation for the things that really matter - like eternal life in heaven. when things are going all good, it's easy to think that your "heaven" is here on earth....then you can easily get caught up in the world, and soon you lose sight of God. let the "bad" people have all their happiness here....in this world, to which they belong. but they will have none of it in the next. ~Rx~
Why do bad things happen to good people?
My mom always said that the devil doesn't mess with bad people....he doesn't have to because he's already got them. The good people don't have to complain. They pray. And they know that no matter what, God will never put more on them than they can handle. I look at like this: Every bad experience I have is a lesson learned. It's knowledge gained. It's one of the ways God make me a stronger, smarter person.
