When Are The Reviews For Beyond Two Souls Coming Out

Beyond Two Souls- Negative Reviews?

So, this Isn't really a question.
But here it goes.

Beyond two souls got some really bad reviews from a lot of different sites. Why though? Do classy, old-school gamers who review games for these websites dislike this new kind of gameplay? I mean, I saw nothing wrong with this game. It was solid. The storyline was good, and the gameplay was not bad. I liked this game as much as I liked TLOS or The Walking Dead. So why did this game get so bad reviews?

What is Beyond: Two Souls about?

Beyond: Two Souls is about Jodie Holmes: a girl who was born permanently linked to an invisible entity named Aiden.  Jodie yearns for a normal life, but her supernatural bond with Aiden gains her all sorts of unwanted attention and trouble. Beyond: Two Souls takes the player through all stages of Jodie's life as she struggles to survive, find happiness, and discover the reason why she and this mysterious, otherworldly entity are tied together.

Will there be a Beyond: Two Souls part 2?

Well considered with the mixed review people giving it a 0-6 sadly there not might be. But some reviewers like polygon gave it an 8 and gamespot gave it a 9. If the game was rated higher then people would've bought the game more and resulting for a sequel. But since not everyone appreciates a cinematic type of game people wont buy it and quantic dreams will loose money if they make another one. But it is possible. I havent played this game yet because i dont have any money for it and i just recently bought gta v but i wouldve totaly buy this game even if it had bad ratings. And for the guy who said that there might not be a sequel because it has different ending they can do what the walking dead is doing for season two. Your sae will be ported and you will be able to play where yoy left off.

How is Beyond Two Souls? If there were a sequel, would you play it?

Beyond Two Souls is an excellent game with a few flaws and a somewhat polarizing presentation.Quantic Dream (the developer), specializes in very narrative games that don't focus so much on the gameplay aspect.  If you play games for the story, cinematography, character development, voice acting and/or presentation, then you will probably enjoy the game.  However, if you are looking for action-packed scenarios with tight controls and competitive gameplay, it might not be the game for you.Another polarizing aspect of the game actually comes from comparing it to Quantic Dream's previous game: Heavy Rain.  You might expect Beyond Two Souls to be universally better than Heavy Rain, due to it being made years later.  However, while the graphics, acting, music, and overall polish of Beyond Two Souls was better, in some cases the game is a step back from Heavy Rain.Heavy Rain had much more severe consequences to your actions, with some choices actually causing one of the 4 protagonists to die, whereas in Beyond Two Souls the story tends to plow forward no matter how much you screw up (though failing does change some scenes.)  The disjointed chronology of Beyond Two Souls also got on some people's nerves, because it made the game more confusing and each scene more episodic.  Heavy Rain, by comparison, had a very solid story foundation and an easily understandable conflict (rescuing the boy from a serial killer.)Personally, I love all of Quantic Dream's games, because they focus on story first and foremost.  I would definitely play a sequel to Beyond Two Souls, and it would certainly fit with the ending(s) of the game.  If Quantic Dream takes the best elements of Heavy Rain and mixes them with the best elements of Beyond Two Souls, their next game has the potential to be a great one.

Bioshock Infinite, Heavy Rain, or BEYOND: Two Souls?

BioShock Infinite definitely, as the story, gameplay, and just about everything else floats high above the competition (heheh, floats, Columbia, lol). Check out the reviews from about every game review magazine/site and you'll see just how critically acclaimed it is.

It's really up to you between Heavy Rain and Beyond. Both are from Quantic Dream and play out as "interactive movies", so whichever premise seems more interesting to you. However, Heavy Rain is cheaper, only $20 for the Director's Cut, so if price matters...

I personally found Heavy Rain to be more interesting, but it's a matter of taste, I suppose. If you're one of those people that likes playing more "inferior" games before the next (i.e. sequels), then Heavy Rain would be your choice (although it is in no way inferior). The atmosphere and soundtrack nearly drove me to tears, and it makes you question your own morals and how far you would be willing to go to save someone you love. (I suppose I am leaning more towards Heavy Rain, aren't I?)

At any rate, the games are all about consequences of your actions, so have fun, regardless of what you choose.

Cheers.
