all 15 episodes of the 2005-2006 debut season are available Aaron McGruder is taking a break so he can get back ta drawing for newspaper comic strips and his cartoon books ..I got them all and I love it ..The DVD episodes are unrated so u gonna hear all the cussing and the scenes they blocked out u will see...like nudity parts in it ...He will be back ta making more cartoons 4 adult swim ..I cant wait 4 that... Name of boondocks song in the new trailer for the new season?
The song in the trailer goes "I'm waking up new shoes new socks two blocks tv" ect and you can look up the trailer its for season 4 i think and I'm pretty sure the artist is mike bigga or killer mike (i think they might be the same person idk) but I've tried shazaming it and looking up the lyrics but i can't find the song. I figured it must be because the song is specifically for the trailer and not actually out yet but if anybody knows it would be greatly appreciated
Why is "The Boondocks" considered to be an anime series?
Technically, anime means animation in Japanese so yes every cartoon is an anime. Now whether or not its an anime as in made by the Japanese, no, it’s an cartoon made by Americans and South Koreans, mostly South Koreans. Aaron Mcruder is the creator of the show, and the comic strip which the show is based off of but the animation is done by an South Korean studios. Now whether or not its an anime based off of Japanese animation style, just like Nick Studios did with Avatar The Last Airbender, then the answer is yes.It all depends on what you consider to be anime since “anime” is a slang in the English language. To me all animation is anime because that’s the literal translation from Japanese to English. However, I also believe any animation with similar “anime” design and style is anime like ATLAB, The Boondocks, Totally Spies, Spider Riders, Amazing Spies, Code Lyoko yet none of these cartoons were made by the Japanese yet they have that anime style and design to them.

The Boondocks! Why? Because its original and extremely funny. Plus it plays on the taboos of society more than Family Guy. I love the boondocks characters more than family guys on.
Do you think The Boondocks should come back?
Yeah, I have mixed feelings about it. When the series creator Arron McGruder worked on the first 3 seasons of the show, (he wrote all of them, sometimes by himself), I though it was a really good show. I thought that this man has a great talent for writing and compelling story telling. He told great, serious stories, like the Passion of Reverend Ruckus, (which the ending *still* gives me pause about), and some fun, light hearted stories that really wasn't saying anything, politically or religiously, and was just having a laugh (like the Attack of the Killer Kung-Fu Wolf B*tch.) Season 4 was pretty bad though, but McGruder had left by that time, so he had nothing to do with it. I can understand why the series ended on a dud after McGruder left But then I saw "Black Jesus," and thought it was kind of bad too, but McGruder WAS heavily involved with that show! So now I'm wondering if McGruder went back to "The Boondocks," if it would still be good. Maybe McGruder just had a bad creation, (it happens), or maybe he's tapped out, I don't know I looked it up though and "Black Jesus" did get a renewal for a second season. I do not know how.
