When I Make My Hair Go Upward Like All Of It. I Think You Know The Style What Type Of Gel Should

How to style hair like Link (from Zelda)?

You will need:

Hair spray,
Hair gel/putty,
Hair dryer,
Hair straitghteners (optional)

Ok, so you when your hair is dry and brushed, straighten it if it's not straight already, or if you don't want to just leave it curly (it will work best if it's straight, if you don't have Straighteners, try hair drying it from the right side of your head over and brush it at the same time, brush and blow dry your fringe or some hair at the front downwards.

Ok, so.... When it's straightened, brush all your hair from your right eye upwards over to the left side of your head, HAIRSPRAY IT VIOLENTLY, then get your hair dryer and blow dry all the hair in that direction, get some gel and gel up the ends... and blow dry your fringe down...

Or you could just wet it, do all the above and hairdry it violently from the left, and blow dry your fringe down, brushing it all the time so its not knoty and them hair spray it :D

Good luck, hope this helped:D<3

Hair grows in upward motion?

At the very front of my hairline, a cluster of hair grows upwards. Literally. The hair grows up for a cm or two before it droops down because it's too heavy. This sort of creates a wave lookalike effect right at the front of my hairline.

My issue is that this strange way of growing interferes with any bangs or fringes that I want, because the upwards growth either sticks up completely in the middle of my fringe, or it separates everything and messes it all up completely.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what fringe/bangs would be possible or how I can manage that cluster of hair? Using gel everyday would get really annoying. I don't want to have no fringe and pull it all back because I'd look awful.

How can I make my hair stand up WITHOUT using hair gel?

I used to have straight helmet hair, and I didn't like it. One time I tried to use hair gel, and it looked pretty cool, but all my friends figured out I was using it and teased me about it. Therefore, I couldn't go to their houses, or viceversa to sleep without using hair gel in the morning. That is why I found another way to make it stand. I just don't use shampoo when I shower. It DOES make my hair stand up, but it also makes it look REALLY dirty. My parents figured out I don't use shampoo and now are obliging me to do it (which I also KINDA want to do, since my hair looks so greasy and dirty), but if I do, my hair would go back to looking ridiculous in that helmet hair style.
Is there a way for my hair to stand up, WITHOUT using hair gel, or any other product that I would have to apply every morning?

What are some hair styling tips for Asian men?

I'm an Asian guy, and I totally know what you mean about the hair sticking up-- apparently our hair is stronger and thicker and resists flattening down smoothly like white people hair! But that's not to worry; if you grow out the hair on the sides of your head to 3-4 inches, you can use a bit of pomade to keep it down while playing with interesting looks for the rest of your 'do! You can keep some bangs 4-5 inches long in the front of your face. This is versatile because you sweep them to the side, sweep them back (upward), or let them dangle over your forehead. In addition, you can cut the hair on the top of your head to 2-4 inches and play with some pomade/gel. This can contrast the conservative-looking side part of your bangs, for example, with a messy, just-out-of-bed look for the rest of your hair, an interesting juxtaposition that she is sure to notice. To do this, first wet your hair slightly (a shower and slightly drying it with a towel works great, or a spray bottle filled with water), and get some pomade or gel (Crew or the Japanese Gatsby Moving Rubber, for example). Put it on your fingers. Mess up your hair so it sticks up, possibly mostly waving in one direction, and rises maybe 1-2 inches from your head.To keep the hair on the sides of your head from sticking up, first wet your hair slightly. Get some pomade (American Crew seems popular, find a hold that works for you) and smoosh a small bit among your palms this time. Run them down the hair on the sides of your head, and finish by using a blow dryer at a 45 degree angle facing down and outward, held a few inches above your head for each side. The blow dryer will dry your wet, pomade-d hair in a downward direction and keep the hold for the rest of the day, helping your pomade keep loose hairs from springing up. The key is to smooth down the sides AFTER you do the top of your head, or else you'll mess up your perfectly-messed-up look! Remember to wash the remaining gunk off your hands!

Transitioning between a boyish hairstyle to a manly one?

I'm 16, and now I've started to notice how men have different hairstyles than boys. The big difference is bangs. Boys have hair hanging forward, men often have hair slicked or combed back. Or they are lucky and their hair just grows upward naturally.

How do I transition to this hairstyle (preferably without hair gel or getting a buzz cut)?
