When Someone Says Walah Does This Have More Meaning Than Swearing On The Koran

Is it wrong to use Arabic sayings like "wallah" even though I'm not Arabian/Muslim?

Wallah would mean that you swear by Allah. You definitely don't have to be Arabic to use this word as many other Muslims use it as well. And I suppose religious but non-Muslim Arabs use this word as well since it’s an Arabic word.. Heck, I've met Christian/agnostic/atheist Turks even use words like masallah, Alhamdulillah, Wallah. But if you're an atheist it would be quite illogical to use the word if you don't believe in God. So you could use it.. although, don't use it like in every sentence but when you swear and really tell the truth about something. Many Muslims take this word too lightly and use it in all day conversations where one doesn't need to swear upon God.“Wallah this movie sucks man” are stuff I wouldn't want to hear.

If a "Muslim" swears to a lie in the name of "God" (Allah) and also says that God doesn't mean Allah but Jesus then isn't it considered as a sin?

Gratitude and DuaVery intelligent questionFirst things first: For believers:Actions are (according to) intentions. So if a Muslim is testifying in a Christian court of law, with his/her hand on the bible saying “God” instead of “Allah”; He/she is OBLIGATED by the Quran to be truthfulHere is a list of major sins that are mentioned in Quran in matters of testimony. Those who commit these sins are “condemned” by Allah. They are warned with “painful punishment in hellfire” explicitly in part 1/4 of chapter 2 in Quran and that is 1/4 of one chapter out of 114 chapters“LYING” is the mother sin of all sins in Islam. Be it to oneself or to othersYour case is in bold and italicFALSIFY THE “BODY” OF TESTIMONYFalsify testimony by swapping false words/terms instead of stating the truthFalsify testimony by mixing facts with fallacyFalsify testimony by changing contextual backgroundFalsify testimony by manipulating the facts around a truth in such a way so it creates confusion instead of clarityFalsify testimony by mispronouncing words/terms in order to confuse/conceal the truthFALSIFY OTHER ELEMENTS OF TESTIMONYBefore a testimony is made, cloud the facts, character of witnesses, character of judges or lawyersBefore a testimony is made, look for excuses to either not testify or testify falsely to damage the caseAfter a testimony is made, look for loopholes in facts surrounding it to prove a weakness or fallacy in a true testimonyThere are at least TWENTY more Quranic specifications for testimony but I hope I have answered your queryPeace!

What is the meaning of "in sha'Allah" in Arabic?

“What is the meaning of "in sha'Allah" in Arabic?”The word InshaAllah is amongst the many beneficial words of islam that Muslims should subsitute instead of saying unnesesary words such as “wow” or “oh my gosh” , by doing this, we will get the reward of Allah and we will be able to obstain words that don't benefit, or swearing as when certain people get surprised or shocked, they use sinful words. What does it mean?.إن شاء الله‎‎InshaAllah. If Allah wills.Since in Arabic, Allah does not mean God but Ilah means God, it definitely does not translate to God willing. What is the significance of using these words?Allah rewards them.We are instructed by Allah to use Insha Allah when planning to do somehing, because it only happens if Allah wills, there is also a story of how a guy didn’t when he said he was going to do something he didn't add InshaAllah Allah then it didn't happen because all ability, energy and power comes from Allah.(MUSLIM, BUT USING FOUL LANGUAGE? - NOUMAN ALI KHAN) (swearing)

What does Wallahi, billahi, tallahi mean?

i know wallahi means something along the lines of i swear to god

but i heard a white guy say all 3, idk whether he was mocking muslims or actually using correct terminology

What does 'wallahi billahi tallahi' mean?

These are the toughest ways to make peopl believe you. They all mean "I swear to God". One will be punished if he said these when lying or even when unnecessary. Allah is not something to play with. Better swear to other things, like salt, bread, etc (which are also tough and not recomended to do if unnecessary)

I need help understanding this Quranic verse ?

Surah al -Baqarah.
2:62 Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life,

A) Does it apply for all times ?

B) If it does, does it apply only to the people of the Book?

C)Or does it apply to anyone who(1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life irregardless of religion or the lack thereof ?

D)Is there any other verse which cancels out this "deal", if yes then how can that be?

I've read so many different arguments regarding this verse , it's confusing .

Salam and thanks ;-)

Is it stupid to me to say wallah if i'm arabic but not muslim?

Every time i am gonna prove something or swear to god, i say wallah, it's a habit but i use it for i swear to god. I'm arabic but i'm christian not muslim. People keep saying its dumb for me to say it just because i'm not muslim and that when i say wallah i'm lying because it doesn't even count but i think that allah in arabic is the same term for god in english since allah is god and i can still say it with meaning even if i'm not muslim because it's not only a muslim term, it's arabic for i swear to god.. hm
